I disagree. The AIM rule xx mentioned would imply a shareholder vote required. Until that passes, I don't think they would be able to pay a dividend.

I mean, that's not what happened though...

Whilst I think this share will come good, I don't think people should hang their hat on this given the company was also given the same value of warrants / options at the same price.
They could very easily have sold the shares into the market, at a small loss perhaps, and be in the situation where they have essentially paid a smaller sum for a significant sum of warrants / options.
Having said that, even in this scenario, they must thing the chances of these coming good is worth the investment otherwise they would put the money elsewhere

I find it strange that, given the RNS title was Nyud Progress Update, people are complaining there is no explicit deal update contained within.

I think you may be better rephrasing your statement Mike as we are being told that the deal is progressing and get regular BAU updates.
If you really mean, you want resource updates and actual deal numbers / timeframes, I suspect these will be under NDA's so will come out in due course.

The BOD are not responsible imo. They are doing what they get paid to do, run the company and progress the strategic options.

How would this work given costs of dealing? You'd need a 30% rise to break even after costs if you only bought £100 worth. Or are you suggesting something like freeytrade
