Math doesn't quite check out here. Your average needs to be 13p to 5 bag at at 78p (15.6p if you mean 5x the value not 500% profit)

If your average was 38p, then you can't have averaged down to below 14p. If you mean the 15.6p, then I guess you could, but you would have had to have increased your holding 15 fold at the low point to get anywhere close. You may well have done that.

Am I missing something there? Did you mean you traded the share so have increased the number you hold etc?

I wouldn't really consider the institutions investment of late as anything other then neutral, given they got equivalent warrants / options.
They clearly had time to get out at a profit from the first tranche if they so wished, and could well have got out of the second tranche at a small loss, leaving them with a huge free carry via the warrants.
It's nice to think they would want a huge / risk free return on their investment, but they have essentially got that with the warrants already.

I'm perfectly happy with my decision and the resultant outcome. I too did my own research and didn't listen to the crowd.
My point was in relation to rooblertwo implying other areas had an agenda to encourage people to vote in the way they did.

Lets be fair, the BOD encouraged shareholders to vote no when they presented the ridiculous consolidation number compared to what they were going to get out of it.
Everything else was perfectly acceptable in the proposed deal.

Well, potentially transformational news is due "shortly". Could be very good, could be very bad, could be somewhere in the middle.
We are still have a proposal from at least one party on the table, if not more as per recent RNS's . None have come out to say these are no longer happening.
I guess it all boils down to your risk reward appetite. If you have more money to risk, it may well come good and be life changing. If you risk more than you can afford to and it goes sour, then that too could be life changing.

If it were a "scam", I'm sure the BOD would have got out when we were near 40p, regardless of the legal ramifications.
Lots of big players still involved, in a complicated deal, that sadly is taking a long time.
Hopefully, this means it's going to be a big deal otherwise I doubt the big boys would be wasting their time on it

I disagree, FSP didn't "fail". It's a process. Yes, the outcome wasn't a full company sale, but the FSP was exited to pursue an offer from credible party for substantially all the companies assets (or something like that). If it turns out there is no sale of anything, then I would agree it is a fail. At present, the sale process is continuing from all that has been RNS'd. Sadly, this is one where only time will tell.

I'd imagine those not in it until the end game would have got out a month or so ago when it went to 37p

Seeing some odd complaints about not making money on this share. Looking at the ytd charts, there have only been a couple of times you would likely have bought in at, which would put you at a loss.
Looks like unfortunate timing in your investment to me
