I get your frustrated it hasn't happened yet, but you seem needlessly down on on the share. Maybe take a break from this share and just wait for an RNS. Nothing else, other than a leak, is likely to move the SP with any significance.

Why do people perpetuate that the trend is downward? It's been flat for a month and a bit.

Invest it all in the next PPI scandal. That paid dividends for some people

The only people I have filtered are those who state outrageous statements and don't back them up. In the main, that's people who are highly negative on this share.
The bulk of what I think you consider rampers, at least put some asumptions up to back up the figures.
I find the frustating ones are the posts where looking at the share price or most re ent RNS's instantly proves them to be incorrect

But your hypothetical example would surely include NDA / trading restrictions on each bidder judt to have access to the data?
Otherwise, I agree, big companies would be picking up as much stock as they could knowing the sale will be higher. Or dumping stock knowing it would be lower

Probably best to ask the company if the NDA's are still in place.
If they are, people can stop complaining there is no update.
If they aren't, people can complain to the board about no update

Disagree, most of the discussion amounts to people demanding an update on the sale or claiming no news on the deal is bad news.
Whilst people can be frustrated, the answer is just to wait.

I can't see a knockdown price happening. Whole company has mcap of sub £1bn. I'm sure if they were willing to sell on the cheap to get a quick sale it would have been done and dusted a year ago.
It will be interesting to see what we find out about the fsp when all this is done and dusted. I suspect this credible party may well have been involved heavily in the fsp

Don't quite get the constant "no meat on the bone" comments. We all want to know the sale details. We'll be told that when it happens. It's most likely that NDA's are in force hence little can be said until the ink is dry.
While that happens, they have a company to run and the latest RNS shows they are doing that.
