There is clearly some corruption in the markets, look at the rise last week on UKOG only for a hugely discounted placing to land this morning

Whilst I'm positive on the share, you have to acknowedge the warrants granted are almost as good as a discount for the investor.

I would be concerned if that's the advice from a professional tax advisor.

Pay tax when sell the shares, no mention of withdrawing the funds being when you pay tax.

If it's in a normal dealing account, with no tax wrapper, you pay CGT on net profit of sales above the threshold in the tax year. Previous years losses can be brought forward to offset some of the gain.
If you made £200k profit on one share, then lost £200k on another share in the same tax year, you wouldn't have anything to pay, but would still have to declare the gain and loss on your self assessment form.
If you made £200k one tax year and lost £200k the next year, you'll be liable for tax on the gain.
It's irrelevant as to whether you withdraw the money or not.
This will be differebt for ISA / SIPP etc.

I suggest you read the gov website and seek professional tax advice just to be safe

I share the frustration that this has not come to fruition yet, but do not feel this means we should be given more updates. News flow has been pretty good in general, just nothing specific to any sale.
I think the challenges people are facing come from assuming this would be a short term investment, when it has become a medium to long term one.
Nothing has got materially worse from any RNS's, in fact, things are better for the company, so the reasons you invested when you did should still be reasons to invest now, just the timeframe is longer

Given the big spread, tight trading range and low volume, I doubt anyone on here is making much money trading this for the last few weeks
