Could be different types of interest / deals for sure. Still should offer some competition which is hopefully good for us all.
Does look like it may take longer to resolve, but with potential for a higher reward.

Interesting on the boxing. AJ is certainly going in lighter so as to last more rounds if needed. I think he'll be in control for the first half, but could be at risk in the later rounds if it goes that long.
I hope AJ does win, so we "might" get one step closer to seeing him fight Fury. If not, it's another year of rematches etc

I would probably blame the misleading RNS back in 2019 stating some rather impressive flow rates, which turned out to be full of water

My take on it
If it's a dividend payment, the company remains a going concern, you'll keep your shares and get a cash payment
If it was a special dividend on the sale of the whole company, you would just get cash (or shares in the company buying EUA or some combination)

I guess the disconnect comes from the hot money money in this share really only being here for an asset sale of some sort.
Whilst the JV news could well be the making of the company in the future, it doesn't satisfy the need of some investors of a quick return on their money via the asset sale.
As such, anything not directly linked to selling stuff, or anything that could make people think a deal is further away, will be seen as a negative by those who only care about that.
I do find others saying we are worthless and no sale will ever happen to be intriguing. Whilst we may not sell, it has to be remembered that we were approached, we didn't put ourselves up for sale.
Also, if we were worthless, then the whole potential for a sale would have been over pretty quickly, either via a hostile takeover for peanuts or by the fsp ending very quickly with the BOD not entertaining the offer.
If a deal of any sort does happen, it will undoubtedly be on the bigger side, otherwise why has everyone been spending so much time on it for the past 2 years or so

Interesting debate. Shares require lump sum purchases to be viable, what with fixed transaction costs.
Only way to get lump sums are from saving, borrowing or realising other assets.
If you have disposable income you can put toward savings, you could put that toward a loan repayment instead, to have the lump sum now, albeit paying interest.
As long as it's very affordable, and you're unlikely to need another loan for something critical, then it may be a good idea.
AIM is very risky though

True, but they have also said many other things like "10p" next week and were very wrong there. I heard no concessions on their behalf when we went up to 37p.

Whilst they are "right", there was a placing, one could say these things all the time on any AIM share and eventually it would happen.

Still, the company has much money in the bank, another II in at 26p.

I do wonder what a rights issue at 34p vs a placement at 26p would have looked like.
They clearly had enough cash for now, so weren't in a position where a fund raise was required immediately (based on what we know). Could they have got more funds for less dilution but taken slightly longer to do so?
Also, it would be lovely to have the option to contribute to the company and have warrants to de risk your position.

More were wanted at the given price. So high demand. Should that not have pushed the placing price up?
Whilst it's money in the coffers, I dislike the options floating around. It does give the opportunity for said company to sell the shares and hold a pretty risk free position.

Primarily a few individuals over on advfn who are "100% certain" no sale will happen and say the company is worth 100m tops.

What I find intetesting. Amongst all the discussion. Is that vety few of the naysayers, are even remotely considering that they could be wrong. I feel this will come good, but admit, theres a chance it might not.
I see posts on other boards, with such certainty, that this is a busted flush. How can you be so sure? None of us know anything for certain. Can you not entertain, the possibility, that you may be wrong?

Don't put all your eggs in one basket they say. What's the alternative? Carry two baskets, open the egg box and put some loose eggs in one? Or do you need a basket for every egg? Makes no practical sense. Walking round tesco with 12 baskets, just to carry eggs
