The SFO saga needs to be concluded one way or another. This has destroyed the company beyond any fine already so not sure what the SFO are out to prove.
The job description for work at the SFO must read take as long as possible and watch UK companies be destroyed just by association. Job done.

I'm 50/50 invested in both. I prefer the shell approach. Its the trouble with hedging, im always 50% right and wrong!
Anyway, im sticking to my holding as is for now. Looney will be gone soon IMO if the gulf with shell significantly widens. ATB

Nice cushion in case there is a blip due to third wave. Basically telling the vultures that there is nothing to feast on here and they can push off elsewhere. Steady as she goes. 2022 onwards will be rewarding if PI's can stay patient and not be spooked by the boiler room gang that will periodically infiltrate to spread fear. ATB

Busy morning so just catching up with results. Fantastic. This will reassure and hopefully peruades funds back in for the dividend and growth. Atb

I too was expecting a brisk rise yesterday but perhaps the rise from about 315 was due to the impending release of this news. Public are always the last to hear.
Steady rise back to over 4 slowly i hope. ATB

The drop from over £4, was I assume related to the restrictions expected due to delta. This threat is slowly receding and by Sep/Oct, I expect Saga customers will be fine to disembark at Med destinations again. Should see a steady rather than spectacular recovery here. All IMO of course.
I am just periodically watching (hard not to) but have no intention of selling any for at least 2-3 year. I was lucky to have kept faith through the placing and bought even more when it was painfully driven down to 120. Have a terrific average here and am not selling out. All that risk taken deserves a much better reward. ATB

Yesterday's fall was brutal but good to see brent regain some poise.
How many would have taken brent at 68 dpb in July at the start of the year? I know i would have. Perspective and calmness required i feel. But markets are irrational!

Smithy, good post and i agree. Data is not straight forward to interpret. Aside from some admissions being precautionary and brief, anyone admitted for any reason, broken ankle say, but swab positive will be treated as a 'covid admission'. Deliberate of course as they want to keep people's behaviour in check.
We cannnot be far off herd immunity and then rates will naturally decline. For the majority of vaccinated people, getting infection with covid leads to mild symptoms. Once this reality dawns and the fear disappears, things will move on. We are not far off this point. IMO of course.

Bladey, yes the gov't should have done better, but id truely rather get delta out of the wayin summer rather than Winter. So in reality, the gov't incompetence was a favour.
Whitty though is a problem. Glass half empty sort of guy who does not seem to realise the psychological impact on other people.

It is nonsense because of the legal loophole that allows a few days delay between action and declaration. Which makes this level nonsense in a fast moving scenario IMO

Clasic, i don't hold, would buy apart from the debt is sky high, competition is so much better and the midel is outdated. So i may buy but only when the price falls much much lower. Heavens. RI now when we are open and making money makes no sense. Mooky has proven an astute businessman and has a bigger stake here than anyone else. Mooky and directors have pegged bonus payments to SP at much higher levels which would be silly if an RI and dilution was needed. I can't see an RI but if there is, I will buy my entire allocation. ATB

JG 68, A lot of shooters did close and have re-opened. Short percentage change will show you that. They have re-opened shorts IMO backing on the 3rd wave causing panic and drops. So far they are being proved right. Needless panic in my view as UK, Israel and US (our main markets) have the best vaccination profile and have broken the link between cases and severe illness. Once the hysteria dies down, things will pick up but before then, shorts will have made more money and have closed. Only ones to lose really are the panicked PI's. All IMO

I held last time this circus happened and lowered my average very nicely. My only regret is i did not buy more. If this drops to the same lows, i aint making the same mistake again. People will have views on catching a falling knife and all that. Pertinent if you are not sure about a company. I am sure cine will do absolutely fine and am comfortable with investing more at these prices. All IMO and invest only what you can afford to lose.
Ps. Lots and lots of new posters always appear at these times and talk up debt etc. Up to you if you think this is all a jolly coincidence. ATB

These prices are crazy. Fill your boots. Im about even money now having averaged up with my buys at 90,85,65 and 60. Will keep dripping in cash at these levels. This is not investment advice so DYOR. Imo shorters will eventually exit once the 3rd wave is proven not to be a problem. ATB

Smalltrader, agree with everything below. Jangho are still holding but IMO have probably given shares out on loan. Profit on top of profit. So whilst the drop is irritating, im pretty sure at some point buy backs will need to happen. Keep dripping in cash as you can. That's what i am doing. Slowly accumulating and will continue to do so. ATB and this is all IMO only

This ridiculous recycling of news to bump back SP is frustrating. And the utter ineptitude of the SFO and govt laggards. A British company is being driven to the ground by international shorting companies making money while no doubt officials from the SFO are WFH and sitting on their lawns soaking up the sunshine. Well done SFO, well done.

Shorters are playing with this stock again IMO. Take advantage if you can. Do not panic as that is exactly how they beat us PI's. ATB
