Whatever his breakeven price is, RDH was comfortable enough with a clause to not sell for a few years (can't exactly remember how long for, but think it was 3 years).
A lot of shares therefore in sticky hands. Once the 2 iis selling are done, these periodic dips will be behind us. IMO. Patience is key. atb

Should kick start a proper reversal in SP. Stunning that BP is not much higher but eventually cash is king and at current levels of Brent and with consumption picking up steadily, a lot of upside to come. I'm frankly amazed people are selling now. 450 was always my target price, and even then, if dividend levels improve, no reason to sell for me. I get everyone's strategy and needs are individually set. I just don't see too many other companies I'd rather have my money safely tucked away in. Atb and all this is only my opinion.

Banbury, also type of insurance and reinsurance products. Saga probably caters to households and individuals rather than industry type insurance. Speculative thoughts of course as I don't know the range of insurance saga provides. Atb

Smithy, no need to drill. large amount of gas in the Falklands basin ready to be developed already in British hands. All ready to go, just needs a partner to develop and get the condensate out.

Hi Gary, absolutely. I did omit to mention the very nice dividend payments that keep coming and will in all likelihood increase o er the next 2 to 3 years. Plus steady capital growth too. What's not to like?

All decisions are for each individual to make. I'm definitely not selling just when true value is about to return.
I'm pretty optimistic this has lots of upside still and I'd rather stay in it. All IMO etc

Seems an odd time to be selling? From what I can see, it's set for a steady return to a higher, more realistic SP. Each to their own of course. I'm keeping this winner running...

Have to keep in mind, 2 previous large institutional investors have been selling and this has had a drag on SP for some time. Each time SP has crossed £4, there has been a knock back.
Once the two have cleared off, a clear path should emerge. I think people are reading too much into the small drop in SP today. Patience is key. Nothing I've seen worries me particularly. Yes, probably ought to be rid of tour, but maybe the timing is not great just now.
The chairman of saga is a rather successful business operator and owns about a quarter of the company. As long as he keeps holding, I'm doing the same. Follow the money as the wise people say....

Whatever Shell will do eventually, the market interpretation seems to be that the 'distribution' will be in the form of a direct payment to investors.

Agree fully. It's bonkers. I'm very surprised oil majors are down. You have to accept its because investment in oil is now considered taboo in some institutions. Ho well, more divi for us PIs it will be.
