I held BP shares after the GOM disaster. I distinctly remember similar doom and gloom. BP recovered from that......worth remembering this. I agree Dudley was a lion compared to Looney the sheep. But BP is bigger than one person. All will be well. If looney does not turn round the SP in the next 12 M especially if Shell etc do, then he will be gone. IMO

Zac, you may need to wait for 2 consecutive quaters of significant returns. Several fund managers have adopted the green virtue signalling out of necessity so as to not lose out investments from large pension funds eyc. However, BP has improved its green image and once dividends rise and other options become less appealing, it will be difficult to not invest in BP. Us PI's can only push up share price so far. All IMO of course. DYOR

Windows345, sums up how the market is crazy and devaluing BP and shell. Yes, OP has dropped, but it is still over 70! People are freaking out but at these levels, BP is a cash machine!

Q2 results will be even more eagerly anticipated now. This should reset SP at a higher level. Hopefully BP will follow as well. ATB

Meanwhile, also beware recent entrant posters who are prolific but only post on one share. They tend to appear when shorting is active. Seen this over and over. DYOR and do not be swayed by boiler room twits. ATB

I'm not expecting any holding news. IMO Jangho have their shares out on loan which are being used to manipulate SP at will. These will be returned at some point and short percentage drop will signal this. Untill then, sit tight and hold if you are in for the medium to long term, or ride the waves if trading is your thing. Very much into fundamentals and evidence based investment. Definitely invested in cine and would love it to do well, just not sure why it should as the fundamentals are against it. But lest we forget, very much invested so on the side of holders......even though the company appears to be in trouble he says.

I wish large holders would stop lending shares out but hey ho, this was possibly inevitable when we got into bed with the Chinese investor. All IMO of course.
Holding cine is a bit like riding a rollercoaster. Just need to remember never to get out at the bottom of the swing.

Its ridiculous that the price is being controlled so much by shorters. However, they do give us options to add on the cheap so have done at 77. Will keep adding if it falls. Not really an issue anymore as we are open and trading so eventually the numbers will force the market into line. ATB and DYOR as this is just my opinion.

This SP is ridiculous. Load up if you can but otherwise stay calm. Shorters probably playing again. Will need to close at some point.

Crytp - You are talking a lot of rot i'm afraid. Cases are rising but seem higher than before because of the level of testing being done. Also the vast majority of increase in children. Unless you are expecting a lot of children to die, you need to re-test your hypothesis. The UK/US/Israel are fine. EU will have a hiccough until vaccination rates are higher. Rest of the world needs to get vaccinating ASAP.
I'm tired of people posting rot. I'm not invested currently in RR so this dip is helpful. But why it is dropping is because of stock market as usual behaving like a herd. It will turn upwards soon enough. Those holding just need to stay calm.
