As far as I can see, snapper has an uncanny ability to increase the Share Price. He turns up and just like that, SP goes up.

BP at 350 is still undervalued. At current Brent prices, cash generation will be fabulous. Institutional investors will be jolly tempted no matter how unfashionable big oil is. Hopefully BP board will hike up dividend payments again. Looking forward to results. Q3 should be good and it seems q4 is shaping to be even better. Atb

Honestly, anyone looking for a cheaper entry is hoping in vein.
Sfo will move on. They are struggling to justify nearly destroying a British PLC for 'failure to prevent bribery' in a part of the world where bribery is rife and common practice and possibly expected. Idiocy but there you have it.
This drift down IMO is people banking profit as PI's can be very impatient and maybe see opportunities elsewhere.
All good and happy in the pfc ship. Just allow the market to consolidate and a move up will follow for the patient IMO. Pretty sure will will see further reductions in short positions this week. Atb

Risk has gone completely of anything disastrous. The world is recovering from the pandemic with the worst behind us.
Pfc will take a little while rebuilding but the wind is behind the company and it will be peddling downhill so much easier to gather pace.
I prefer to see a gradual correction upwards in SP. Otherwise traders flock in and it starts to resemble a casino.
It's a school day, but I think an exception can be made with a celebratory drunk tonight. Enjoy.

The reason I'm saying this is I'd hate newbies to think there is easy money to be made by trading. Too many will be tempted by this sort of narrative and it ends up costing folk hard earned cash. My advice is trade only after you have been investing for a while and if you have a steely mentality. Plus can afford to lose the cash if it all goes pear shaped. I'll stop lecturing now! Atb

A lot of shares needed. Mind games will be on. Anyone thinking of selling now should take a deep breath and consider why. Risk-reward at this stage IMO massively favours holding patiently unless you are an ace trader like Paddy or the son of Paddy. Most who try and trade will lose out. That is the nature of trading. Y11, 130 is very optimistic. Some volatility was expected. Periodically tree shakes to take out stops is what I'm expecting. The spike on opening IMO was shorts closing and then profit-taking or limit sells being hit. If we don't finish over 200, I will be very surprised. Atb but I don't think you will get your desired entry point.

Eurofil, I agree.im expecting to see the SP at 2 pounds on Monday. A 100 M fine will be considered reasonable and PFC can return to business and creating jobs. Running down a UK plc will benefit nobody.

Agree completely. I'm happy to participate in a capital raise with sfo out of the picture. No issue whatsoever. If that is the worst case scenario, it truly is happy days.
