Authorities need to wake up and feel the mood. Blame game and threats of recriminations for the teenage PIs has begun. Meanwhile, the rotten practice of shorting is protected. It's apparently a good balance to the stock market. I can see some positive in shorting but mostly it's unchecked greed. Time this is sorted and they stopped blaming the teenagers for showing guts to take them on. I'm going to buy more too. ATB

The rise makes selling a tempting proposition - but so was selling at 60 for those who bought at 40 etc. just wait, this has lots to go yet. Hard to sit on a profit but IMO selling now unless you really need to is risking missing out on bigger rises. sitting on the sidelines and watching the SP rise is not fun.

if shorters keep selling - and PI's keep buying - the shorters are simply getting deeper into this and a sniff of Gamestop like activity in the UK and the reversal will be swift. At 50% ip day cannot be far.
Hold and buy if you can. Let the shorters buy back at a premium. They have made enough money on the way down so can afford it. ATB

ToS -this share was trading between £900-1000 before the news of the SFO investigation landed which caused about a 50% drop - so this investigation has been well and truly priced in. This was May 2017 and after over 3.5 years of investigating - 1 person, an ex-employee has been charged but no charges against the company or any of the directors.
The pandemic then took the SP down further to about 200 so current SP is a massive over-reaction and in time will correct upwards. IMO. Given the mood music is weighted against our shorter pals - this upward correction will probably happen soon. Then recovery from the pandemic, more green spending (PFC installs wind farms etc) closing/closure of SFO investigation will allow doubt to vanish. Shorters pray on doubt - remove that and they will move on. IMO etc.

Auson, Funds such has these will likely have hedged by loaning shares. They win either way so no need to increase their position just yet. IMO

Lat, fair play. Risk management is sensible depending on exposure. I bought expecting 150 in a year and have not changed my mind. No overexposed here so I'm happy to wait. Each to their own plans. But.....loving the rise!!

I accept profit it profit, but this is going north of 1 pound just on momentum and shorts will need to de-risk. It is very expensive to keep shorts open in this setting. Having sat through all the pain and angst in the 20's, I'm not leaving anytime soon!

The company needs to churn out some good news RNS if they can. Now would be a perfect time to really hurt the shorting gang. Have only got into this one in the last few weeks but have held CINE for a good 8 months. Retribution from the youngest PI's via Reddit is just wonderful to see. Old school ties will not mean much when they lose billions of their chums cash.

The gap to the SP he would like to buy at probably! Jokes apart, with Brent holding firm at 55+, this SP is going to go higher and higher. Occasionally idiotic policy may cause a bump but rise is likely. IMO

A1, I think you may be underestimating the size of the fine but aside from that a a bit of reputationional damage, most of us would agree with your assessment that the SP is oversold. I don't usually trade but this was too good an op to pass up.
I agree too with you about operating in a pretty murky geopolitical region, brings with it rules of the game that those sitting in ivory towers cannot quite see. But on the ground, often deals need to be done. Generally laced with layers of deniability. All speculation of course so please no one get offended! ATB

Hope it does. The arrogance if the shorting hedge funds is because they behave like a cartel IMO. Loving how thr millennials are fighting back. In their own way. Bravo.

Anyone who can pull one over the ruddy hedge fund shorting demons, has my respect. Don't mind hedges against economic cycles, oil prices based on events, etc. Calculated coordinated attacks to simply profit by taking down perfectly good companies, simply because they can and no one will stop them, is just not cricket. IMO

Thought the update was pretty robust and whilst I did not expect a huge rise, a fall was a surprise. Anyway, the reasons I hold have not changed and will just bide time until the infection rates drop to the extent where the govt will struggle to justify keeping us from travelling. Trying to avoid variants from coming to the UK is an idiotic policy as variants will happen continuously and as we are never going to be rid of Covid-19, this policy is illogical unless we intend to insist in perpetuity on 2 weeks of self isolation after any overseas trip. Mad.
