the last 6 months has been painful but i think the CEO has learnt that the Dec 2020 RNS was unacceptable.

We know progress is being made in the US and the deal with Iqvia could potentially reduce the time to market, which has been stated on numerous occasions as Q2 (so by end of June).
Just a confirmation that things are progressing to plan and a re-iteration of the Q2 date should go down reasonably positively IMHO.
Hopefully tomorrow will be the start of an improvement in sentiment for STX.

News on European expansion and Oz would also be a nice bonus, but US is key.

To add to the positivity - i do like the LFT update in Friday's RNS.
When they say it could add significant revenues to NCYT that has to be a minimum of 10% of current revenues. So c£20m upwards. This is of course a revenue stream that didn't exist in 2020.

a better interview, however, i'm still not convinced by the logic for the additional placing. He admits it was a mistake but he didn't look overly concerned. I suppose he might just a bit poker faced naturally.

STX will know that 99% of questions will be regarding US progress so hopefully there will be an update / forward looking statement at the same time. CEO must know that no news will not go down well so i'm hoping he can at least confirm Q2 timings.

Just my estimate - but a c42p company is valued at around £300m.

I think the 254k tonnes annual production will produce c£60m EBITDA. A very conservative 5 times PE gives us the £300m.
If they can get lakes 2 and 3 up and running without the need for further dilution then you could multiple this by 3. Big if of course based on funding issues with the current lake.

i don't think funding is the issue - we had over £1m cash as at 31/12/20 and if money is needed e.g. for a large ingredients order, Opti can top slice their skin investment, as they have done in the past.

I just think it's the slow pace of revenue growth that is keeping this down - many are still waiting for that hockey effect!!! Hopefully 2021 will be the year

Just to add my comments, i feel the cash position is actually better than you suggest.
Rev in H2 was £213m and the EBITDA was c£149m for H2 alone. Now the cash position increased by 'only' £74m to £92m at 31/12/20. So not all the invoices were paid by year end and c£70m is still to come in (standard business practice).

It is likely any dispute will only impact unpaid invoices.

Lets assume worst case 50% of this £70m doesn't come in that's still £35m that should be added to the coffers.

Using your £52m cash generated in 2021 i've got a cash position at 31/12/21 of £92m + £35m + £52m = £179m.

This is a massive war chest and shows how undervalued we are IMHO.

Zahir - i agree sentiment has damaged the SP and this is now massively undervalued.

I'm just pointing out that it helps if you post comments that the SP will be x by a specific date, as you do repeatedly, it helps if you back it up with facts - i'm just pointing out that China, for example, is not currently revenue generating.

I am heavily invested here so clearly it is not in my interests to deramp.

IMHO i can see this at £500m based on 2023 revenue projections, in 2025 i can see it at £1bn based on revenue and profit forecasts - so maybe you're the deramper!!!

the spin off will take time and their value is unclear. Many just want a quick win and will move on - the herd will return in time. DIM will be massive when contracts start getting announced - amounts may not be too exciting on their own but it's recurring revenue not an one off fee

Unfortunately i'm pretty sure you are wrong for now. The current process is via a LFT that takes 30 minutes - the only one the UK govt are currently using is the innova one (although Boris has said there will be UK equivalents).

Maybe things will improve later in the year and talks of a vaccine/negative test passport aren't going away

a mixed bag indeed. More drilling should hopefully provide further details though. There is definitely gold though so surely more positives than negatives??

NO - they have a commercial agreement in Europe so have outsourced sales ( no sales team). Progress to date has been frustratingly slow - revenue was £0.7m last year, although hopefully this should increase soon as the country coverage is being increased.

China has not got regulatory approval yet, although hopefully this is a formality. Should be revenue generating in 2023 and this is a potentially massive market.

Short term this is all about the US market.

Zahir - if you are going to ramp this company at least do your research first!!! We all want this to go up
