Is There any possibility that an independent person with a good interest in this ( for e.g. Lord Berkeley or A.N.O) could get John Wood and Stuart Reid of IOSSC into the one room, lock the door and don't let them out till they thrash it out....

as if they put the clock back 12 months and start again.

I don't see any good for either company or the community of Scilly Isles going forward the way things stand.

There are no contracts yet signed; so all avenues should be explored.

There has been nothing more heard from the deal with MJM marine.

I would also note that MJM now have a huge contract with DeWave for fitout of the Manara 1000' 18deck which is now docked in Bremerhaven. I cant see it moving from there. so had we priced this and didn't get it.

MJM will go anywhere to save a farthing.

There was mention of electrification from memory. ? Is there an issue with this. I honestly don't know.

but I personally am not a fan of cruise ship fitouts. Its all about cheapest labour, berthing and back up services and

does not use the fabrication facilities imo..

I don't follow this as much as other aspects of HARL to be honest, but I believe some of you are way off the mark with what it will take to do a deal and the £ 3.20 offer was silly ( in my opinion).

my basis. A 17m turnover company could expect to be selling for say 10-20m depending on surrounding finances and the industry they're in and of course debt etc..

They are carrying over a one off massive loss from 2019 of 4.5m hence no tax as brought forward

Their operating profit for 22 is 2.5m

But everyone is not allowing for the fact that the directors and their families /direct friends will have a much higher percentage of the shares in issue - maybe as much as 20-25% which will control any decision.

Also,there will be a loyalty to the company,they will band together as islanders and it will take a decent bit more than £5 a share (7.28m) to do a deal. All in my opinion...

Hard to keep up with this Isle of Scilly.. more drama in it than Emmerdale.

perhaps its not related to funding at all, but a large pi behind the scenes backing it up.

Can you advise of what precludes directors buying in shares. I am not familiar at all with the rules.

With particular regard to cfo. I can't see how directors could be excluded for so long if it is to do with inside info.?

I also think that if there was a change to this, it would have an important impact; especially right now.

Si D My aim was too wide... I will be more direct in the future... My aim was at posters who have only 100% negative commentary on anything to do with Harl, hoping it fails, and I don't see how they really give balance to this board. There are enough hard questions asked of the bod and issues with HARL from the LTH here that imo gives plenty of balance.

Also, BrTrees contributions are valuable and encourage debate, but perhaps follow your 'own advice' and avoid political commentary on this board that you instigate.

p.s. If you came across a dog with rabies , you don't talk to it.. you wait in hope for someone to come along and shoot it.
