@Flav.. well you could add the situation wherby Russia is having to export oil to India for refining and import from Asia as well, and then Venezuela is in a terrible situation generally, and now power supply to their oil refineries is starting to cause issues. Under a normal year this would often be enough..

If nothings changed to SP by Mid Aug I'll have to make a decision and may throw in the towel on this one with a breakeven.

Ok so the drawdown of 172m taking it to 243m is well beyond the recommended level of 275-300 so is there an exact figure when will the US gov say enough is enough? J Bond You are right to an extent but it depends on whats happening inside that company and I dont see that with TLW.. I have seen many times over the years, directors of plc buying in a very short time frame(within 3months) before the company goes into Liquidation and also many directors of small businesses putting back in personal money into the company they founded trying to prop it up before it sinks. Its a mix of disbelief that they could fail,preserving image and trying to reassure stakeholders. i.m.o. The timings and variety of Tlw Dir buys are important here and point to something else.

Theres got to be a squeeze some stage very soon... There's never any mention of private reserves. With the strategic gov reserves this low private reserves are bound to be as low pro-rata as no-one wants to buy and hold expensive Oil. With this OP drop Private reserves will now want to restock; fuelling an increase in the drawdown. All to play for. Tlw drops more than other Oilers but also rises more sharply as well.. i.m.o.
