Ok tks Si D I always assumed they were just simply matching/filling out of buy & sells to complete orders when there was a lack of trading going on; but not something I know anything about t.b.h. any info you have would be appreciated.
Agree LSE He's a well accomplished speaker and knows his brief, and no coughing today from anyone !
not much new as such:-
On track with Civils extension by Cleary
Procurement on track for FSS
problems with Apprentice Levy again mentioned
very brief mention of Irish navy and a whole island solution...
mention of FSS engines being "sustainable" and again mention of importance and effort they are putting into "Social Value" via interns, students, local suppliers, apprentices and mention that they are a social guinea pig programme..
I def think ESG has something to do with HARL's application for loan

Yes see what happens...
Perhaps the ESG Loan mentioned in this article is something that might be linked especially with a couple of the recent "woke" appointments.

Clean Growth Direct Lending Facility
UK Export Finance (UKEF) provides direct loans within an overall limit of £8 billion to overseas buyers. Of that limit, £2 billion has been allocated to support clean growth projects.
The UK has a Clean Growth Strategy which defines clean growth as “growing our national income while cutting greenhouse gas emissions”.
UKEF will align its definition of clean growth with the Green Bond Principles.
Each prospective deal will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Below is a list of the types of projects that UKEF may consider to be eligible for the clean growth direct lending facility.
Renewable energy
Including:
production
transmission
appliances and products
Energy efficiency
Including:
new and refurbished buildings
energy storage
district heating
smart grids
appliances and products
I asked a while back on here, were they going for the green scheme but never got a reply.
its the only thing that fits in that I can see tbh

I had thought the Export Credit Finance for customers was linked to a company that had qualified for the UKEF scheme.
If the UKEF is still a work in progress can this facility be used yet?
Pretty disrespectful Andy, there are many other LTH posters that have put up plenty of info., answered questions freely to all as best they could, just to help them. There's enough Freeloader's in this share already. guess you're another.?
I will say no more "for now" on this, lest I be accused of running down the Steamship co. , but the add. comments regarding H+W freight side of the business are very positive.
now where's that bleedin Falklands contract...
If its the the article done by Justin on the FB page ( seems a very well balanced and knowledgeable commentator i.m.o.) it was very scathing of the IOSSG and actually questioned would they survive. Much less Negative on HARL with more questioning of technical points such as fuel economy of new cat etc.. plus, there was that letter from Lord.... to IOSSG (not good..)
