RE: Directors buys20 Dec 2024 18:23
Directors cannot buy shares in their own company if they become aware of 'inside knowledge' that is regarded as price sensitive. Even several months after buying/selling shares if the authorities see a Director deal that looks suspicious they do inspect individual cases. So, to summarise, the Directors must feel positive about something they believe is going to happen in the future but at this point in time don't know for certain what will occur. It seems like a grey area but one way or another I think Gino and Russ both buying over £20k is a good sign. Nothing more. I couldn't actually find a specific period of time before good news is released to the market in which Company Directors are forbidden to purchase shares, or of course conversely sell if there is negative news.
Take this for what it can only be and that's at least a positive sign that they must feel good news is on the way at some point but don't know exactly what that might be. With GDR it could be one of several things or a collection of good events that will result in share price movements in a northerly direction!
I'm a little surprised the sp didn't take off even more today but perhaps pis are realising there can't be any news within the next couple of months so it's as you were. Waiting for NHSS roll out news, end of pilot scheme in NHS in April or perhaps a sales contract being discussed but not yet agreed with a foreign territory. What ever, it seems like this might be the new bottom for a few more weeks/months and then hopefully something good lands. I'll be watching closely. Good xmas to lths here. You deserve a GDR prezzie after these last three years.
