Thought they’d announced a while ago they have been given £800k towards a testing scheme over 18months (/starting in Oct 2025) for both GDR tests in Scotland? There won’t be any National roll out until that’s finished in March 2027.

Also thought the £500k NIHR and OLS Funding Package was to address NICE Real World Evidence Generation Requirements over a period of time, rather than simply being available cash to spend on monthly cash burn.

£1m in cash as of March 20th this year, £500k tax refund , £1.22m fund raise in April and income from the existing sales means they have cash to last until about Sept. Oct at the latest. They have to resolve the funding crisis soon or they take it private is my guess. They might be planning/hoping to get the 75% share holder approval by actually performing so badly that pis abandon GDR either on continued silence or….deliberately announcing and highlighting the precarious financial situation. Might leave Directors and a handful of major shareholders holders holders with 75%? Peel Hunt imv are holding that 66.66m shares for someone else. They certainly haven’t sold them.

Anyone here recall James Cheek’s awkward response to the question of whether or not there had been any conversations to consider taking the company private? It’s the only logical way explanation for the Directors making no effort at all to reduce monthly cash burn.

This is going to collapse suddenly unless there is something positive for the market. BOD sticking to the task though of staying quiet and allow the sp to drop as far as possible before telling share holders best option is to sell for peanuts or risk ending up with nothing. They’ll pick up pre arranged bonuses and pis left shafted. Just my opinion. Never known a BODs so desperate not to give the market as little as they can get away with. Peel Hunt in on the game too.

Its mngt team are doing nothing other than jumping on the bandwagon of sentiment in the defence sector and feeding a further load of bs hinting that it's all connected to AI. Another top trend.

They have no products to sell to anyone. Nothing. They also don't have nearly enough money even to buy a start up product. Do some homework ffs.

Yes Billy, lots of DD I’m sure. That will be your excuse when they announce a delay or extension. Pilaedes they say is worth £20m (when in truth it’s not worth anything like that much but who can argue?) So if there is a deal I’m expecting a cash consideration of maybe £150k and 50% in stocks of the ‘value’ of Pilaedes that they’ll tell you is worth…oh wow, roughly £9.8m.

Absolutely. Most stocks COULD come good if the stars align but the vast majority on AIM don’t. That’s why they’re on AIM because of the high risk factor. Potentially huge rewards too but it’s easy to get into trouble. The risk factor was what I cdnt handle and so I’m mostly out of long term stocks that need years and years to come to fruition. I won’t take a risk on GDR now but if good news lands and the risk is reduced then I’ll decide at that point and not before. Yes, I’ll likely miss out on any quick surge but at least I can sleep at night. The biggest factor here is that I don’t trust that Gino and Russ and the Chairman are working in the interests of ordinary pis. They can’t be bothered with regular comms which shows a lack of respect (disdain?)

HL should be sued by its users for not pushing to get the documentation sorted so it could offer TIR. I first looked at this when it was .12 and missed out on much of this rise until I left. Taking ages to get funds out of HL though so had to stump up £5k from my normal bank acct to open a new acct and get in at .34

Furious with HL and got nothing but surly treatment from who ever handles calls. They really couldn’t be bothered. And clearly don’t give a sh.t about their PI customer base. Wish I’d left years ago

Certainly not but makes you think, doesn’t it?! Who buys that many shares unless they KNOW something is about to land. Hope for holders that it’s down to a leak and good news is about to land. If it’s an RNS with National roll out or £1.5m sales contract with UAE I might think about a small punt but GDR caused me a great deal of distress - and my own choices to become too emotionally involved and over exposed - so I won’t make that mistake again.

Jlc - sometimes it's the actual exchange - in this case obvs LSE - that forces delisting owing to non compliance or bankruptcy. Something is afoot here and it's not going to be pretty imv. These Directors are rats of the highest order and will do anything to save themselves before giving a moment's thought for the concerns of ordinary share holders.

Shareholder Approval is typically required: Most exchanges require a company to obtain shareholder approval (often through a special resolution requiring a 75% majority) before voluntarily delisting.

Is that why Peel Hunt are involved and holding on to 66m shares? So they can be in on this being delisted? Not sure where the BODs might expect to get the other 65% required to approve such a move as pis actually hold the vast majority of shares in this company I believe...? Fascinating to watch but I really do feel for those with anything other than small change locked in this.

Receipt of CE-IVD certification arrived 3 weeks ago and...oh, not a peep from the BOD on any sales. Not from anywhere. Nothing in the pipeline or hinted at. Just nothing. Comms were always terrible from this company and after over six months away nothing has changed. It's a totally depressing end to what should have been a great UK success story in the biotech sector. Instead, as per usual on AIM, greedy and talentless company directors have looked after themselves and in the process blown it for a perfectly good company with fantastic products, all aided and abetted by greedy mms and private equity companies eg Riverfort. That was probably the very moment I should have followed my gut. Which Director knowingly gets into bed with an outfit like them unless they are deliberately trying to undermine the company and set it on a downward spiral. It could have been the case Budd was the instigator (acting on behalf of a potential future buyer?) and was later on made to walk by Gino and Gilham once discovered but by the time they realised what Budd was up to enough damage had been done to GDR to put the writing on the wall. Just musing on my part and only an opinion but they performance of the BODs has been spectacular. One of the finest examples of how to run a company and guarantee failure.

Needs a miracle to survive. And soon.
