It seems a certainty Burnham will be PM soon which short term will mean a further delay in the defence investment plan but as he has already committed to increase spending in defence , this should be good medium to long term for DH.

For me, that post from AM was yet another very clear signal that the next few weeks will be transformational for DH. Hoping we will hear this week on the contractual position of project Strong and maybe news on the second contract?

Why are people confusing today's news with that of contracts? Today's launch of Meridian was just the latest milestone in the company's development and confirmed the programme is now open for applications. They are delivering on what they have promised.

Agreed. Starmer will want to announce some defence contracts soon and he will be all over this now. I suspect the shortfall in the DIP that Healy resigned over was around physical stuff rather than the latest technologies.

Interesting. Second contract to be announced shortly is not Ixian but linked to the first product contract. Ixian and Gloucestershire police hoping to be announced hopefully soon after.

The substance, plan, direction is what matters not the cosmetics around appearance etc. Andrew Rougan is the real deal and when he announces forthcoming contract wins, people will soon see that.

Just watched it. Very impressive strategic update and lots of clarity on what the company will be focused on in the next few weeks and months. This guy is the real deal and no reason not to expect contract wins and announcements soon. He also recognised comms in 2026 hasn't been good enough so expect a more consistent news flow. Very encouraging.
