A flawed but simple argument is look at the performance of the share price over the last 3 yrs. the BOD’s strategy has rewarded investors with a decrease in the value of their holdings of approx 66%. Doesn’t that say the strategy isn’t working?

Of course we know the strategy is working well apart from in one important respect: value for share holders. I’m sure the Directors haven’t taken a 66% reduction in their monthly pay cheques in that time so what gives?

It’s absolutely typical of AIM company directors a) not to be clear in their comms on what they really intend to do and b) not to reward ordinary shareholders holders.

I had really hoped MFAI might be different but it seems pro investors know something we don’t. All sense would suggest this should now be sitting closer to 2p but for some reason it’s seriously undervalued . Not sure whether to hold or just sell up on the next small spike. BODs are not playing this well right now and imho missing a trick by not showing the market they intend to look after pis, who comprise the vast majority of holders here. Shame

I agree with you bp but….the big question is when will the govt actually start spending and support Weardale? If it was years off the. Would mms bother doing as you suggest? I think not and therefore I feel they, the mms, believe funding will arrive sooner rather than later.

Even if Wd only received £50m that would increase the value of Mac’s share hugely and this would do at least 100%, most likely more. Is it one of very few AIM stocks that could genuinely do well and really quite soon?

Sorry jlc but, and I do think you’re a genuine share holder/poster, the last time GDR was approaching financial turbulence you confidently predicted they had enough cash to last until October of this year. In truth they had £1m left as of March 20th. You were 4 months out.

Obviously GDR IS getting close to decent income but as we know from all previous experiences, when it comes to sales they have vastly overstated their targets and there have been numerous regulatory delays. Why are you so confident everything is different this time?

I agree with the poster who suggested mms - PH - are now most likely keeping the sp at current levels to let mates out before it collapses and there's a sudden crisis. BOD should have been sacked about three years ago.

Nah this one is a sham. I did look at it but lining up Directors who happen to be former military personnel but actually have absolutely no experience in military hardware - or software for that matter - doesn't wash. In fact none of the current Directors have experience in this sector as far as I'm aware. Have any ever been involved in Government contracts? Probably not. Nope, not even worth a punt anymore. Only lost a few hundred quid but I now think it's just a complete sham.

Agree AJ. Interference and manipulation from mms on AIM stocks if allowed to continue to the same extent as currently will in the end bring the whole thing down about its ears. No logic and no trust in what anything is said regarding AIM stocks. Good news almost always means share prices tumbling down and huge spikes - for those in the know - on no news and, most annoyingly of all, repeated spikes totally manufactured by mms for places to forward sell shares

No, I’m not saying GDR will Not get income from the Scottish Testing scheme, just that the £800k will have to be used to pay for that project. It’s ring fenced and won’t be able to contribute to GDR’s already crippling monthly cash burn of £500k. This is done imo
