Good luck Gloria but for me nothing with GDR now gives me even the slightest inkling things will turn out well. Why? They are almost out of money. That means they can’t even submit an FDA application for either of their tests. Could be years off before they can afford it but I don’t think GDR will survive that long. It’s expensive. They can’t afford it. Any mention of National roll out or National commissioning for either test has disappeared altogether from all company communications. It was mentioned at every opportunity when Cheek was CEO as the great white flag of hope. IMHO Cheek found out it wasn’t going to happen and it walked. So, where can GDR find any money to continue? The current UK sales income doesn’t even cover 50% of their annual spend. Sales from abroad? Possibly but in my mind the numerous delays, one after the other, in NICE, NHS pilot schemes, FDA applications and even EU sales approvals all point to something a little more sinister. Someone should do a search on all the medics involved to see if any of them have holdings in any private equity firms. Budd, Cheek and now Gino can’t all have been so hopeless in business that they would blithely carry on spending £500k every month with such little income and the potential for future sales being so far away on the horizon. They now can’t do another raise because the sp has fallen under the nominal value AND they have no shares in treasury so would have to seek share holder approval to further dilute anyone with a holding, themselves included. Interestingly I see on this website that LSE still hasn’t bothered to update the full number of shares in issue… still states 543m.
So, no, why would you take a punt? For a possible 10% spike from a pump and dump? If that’s good enough for you then I hope it works out. I’m now doing very nicely from numerous AI, Fin tech and btc related stocks. Every single one of them has done extremely well in the last 6 months. I would have only lost even more money if I’d left it all in GDR. I held for several years and the BODs rewarded me with zero. Zero increase in the sp, no respect in terms of regular and clear communications and just repeated placings, delays and false hopes.
At best the Directors are totally incompetent and the company will go into administration and IP sold off for peanuts. At worst they are complicit in a plan that I fear will not be for the good of ordinary pis and will see GDR bought out cheaply. Ie same outcome for ordinary share holders. Zip.
A punt? Describing it as such is being generous! Good luck to you though.
