Hi Gary, well i think most people are of the opinion it's very unlikely that this company will go bust, so in which case there has to be a bottom price here, we are all hoping this is it or at least pretty close to it, hopefully this will start rising again, but it's all a bit of a gamble just like with any other shares, personally if i thought there was no chance of this rising from it;s current sp, then i would just sell up now, but i will be holding on here

Sidi, well i can't speak for dan, but i know he has bought at various prices all the way down, but what would you do if a share you bought kept dropping for 6 years with no chance of recovering your losses, well you hope it will change direction or sell at a loss, to be honest though, if anyone said a year ago this would be 69.25 they would have been laughed at

fair play to Dan he doesn't pretend this has been a good investment, but he is still positive it will get better and doesn't moan about it all the time, like i sometimes do, but who knows what the future will bring. i suppose the dividends have softened the blow a bit

Dan&Fleccy, I just assumed they must have some evidence of wrong doings before letting this go public, but let's see what happens then, whether it was deliberate or not, if they have been over charging i expect they will have to pay it back

Fleccy, I'm the same I buy my own phone and have a sim only contract, but we are talking about the youngsters who are more interested in having a fun time and trust they are not being stitched up

Hi Fleccy, from what i could make out, they were still charging people the same monthly amount even though the cost of their handsets were fully paid, surely that's being dishonest, ppi all over again, people used to dislike going into curry's or comet because they were being pressurized into taking out insurance, and if they were buying say a tv or similar on finance the salesmen were telling them they probably wouldn't be accepted for finance unless they took out insurance, which was lies

Well they shouldn't have deliberately ripped off their customers, they knew exactly what they were doing, unfortunately its another blow for us share holders

Hi Dan, just ignore them mate, to be honest i don't care what they say, i only blame myself, that's one of the dangers of topping up, i thought i had a bargain when i added more at 86p but it seems it has just increased my losses, let's see where it goes next year, it's not over until the fat lady sings, not sure if Margarita pizza is fat or not, i will have to ask Jax he seems to know a lot about her

Well going from memory this dropped down a couple of times in the last few years reaching it's low of a £1 by xmas time, then started rising again in the new year, getting up to 140, i have just given myself a few kicks for not selling then, but it is what it is, so maybe we should all chill out and get into the xmas spirit, and hope this share can find some energy and start rising in 2024

LawrenceH, as long as it comes back to the price we bought it then all's good even better if we get more than, one thing you don't want from a dividend paying share is to lose more of your capital than you are getting back in dividends, all i can say is I've not had that problem here so far, but i could name one that i have

Let's hope we can at least hold onto this share price next week

Jax05, that's very true, i have to admit though i would be even happier if this share wasn't doing some damage to my pension pot, but the number one rule always has to be, don't invest anymore than you can afford to lose on any single share, and remember nothing anyone says on here will make the slightest bit of difference, so not much point in getting upset about it

Hi fleccy, this is a difficult one for sure, i would say it's very unlikely this will go bust and not suggesting anyone should sell at 69p, i suppose it depends how confident you are that this will rise and if so by how much and is it going to be lagging behind other investments, and is the dividend safe, we all know this has only gone in one direction in the last 6 years can it be turned around, if only we knew the answers

I think everyone will just have to make the decision on what they feel is best for them, and hope they get it right

Dan, chasing your losses by continuing to add can be a dangerous game, especially into a share that's been dropping every year, i know you are not, but just saying nobody knows where this is going, and if it does increase and i hope it does, the other question is will it increase as much or as quickly as other shares or will it be lagging behind

if only we knew the answers

Sorry sidi and all that went off too early, Lloyds despite topping up i still need 47p to break even and vod fortunately is one of my smaller holdings, but unfortunately i don't think i will ever recover my losses there, i'm just hoping the ones currently in loss will come back good so i can sell them off and put it into international funds, my 8 funds are all in profit, so for myself i have been more successful with funds than individual shares

LGen though as been one of my best dividend payers
