Both broker forecasts are based on £300m for the year. We all here believe it will be higher than that level as it stands.

A £406 m potential contract extension would result in an RNS as it would without any doubt be material to the SP

Oh its just the old Motley fool comment, price could rise, price could come down on more vaccine news, wow, I want a lower entry point - no sh@t sherlock. bugger all research, doesn't mention price could also climb if sales turn in ahead of expectations (likely) or decent sized contract won (likely)
Not sure what more vaccine news can come frankly, if 100 vaccines were out at 100% cover we would still need to test everyone along the way!!
Anyhow each to own, think I will rely more on the SP Angel and Numis evaluations who are closer to the business.

I consider the mark down in SP well and truly overdone, with a market cap most likely what the company will do in annual sales, frankly it's beyond a joke buy hey at some point the SP should reflect a significantly higher value but we may have to wait until the year end results are in or a significant further update on any actual orders secured or meaningful contracts.

Was half expecting MMs to try another raid today and mark down again on the Oxford vaccine news but guess the Orange has been well and truly squeezed enough!

Should be all good news from here for the SP, unless the Oxford update at end of the year comes out as 110% effective, will cure everything else at the same time and it increases your intelligence level by 100% at the same time, I think we can safely say that all vaccine news is now well and truly priced in

Effectively we are talking lab standard PCR test results in a local setting. Once news of this is out that Care Homes can carry out tests that are 99% accurate I cant see how it can be ignored. It will totally eradicate any risk of a false negatives and keep staff and residents totally safe.

This is in addition to the recent new strain found in minks and the recent new strain discovered in part of Russia - Last thing we need is this virus mutating, very worrying.

What really frightens me is the governments need for speed and to rush at this probably buying more of the innova crap from China with no consideration for the death rate in care homes we will see following that decision. Only takes one false negative from a visitor and the consequences don’t be bare thinking about

So whilst the market wets itself over the vaccine magic bullet hype back on planet reality:-

So we have significantly higher demand for testing that isn't going away any time soon, a business here with exponential growth with world class quality products that is working flat out to support that demand and the market marks the SP down - you couldn't make it up

Finally, we don't even have any real data yet regarding the take up rates or its effectiveness against mass or transmission rates, this will take us until at least towards the end of 21. Don't get me wrong, anything to help us get out of this pandemic is a great thing but lets have some realism here, its going to take time, i want a vaccine to be right not rushed and any serious possible longer term side effects properly evaluated.

Meanwhile testing is here to stay for some time imo, Diagnostics is now essential irrespective of how Covid plays out.

LMOL the way it’s going with the hype around the vaccine race im expecting AZ to come out and tell us that theirs is 104% effective and for the Russians to come out after and tell us that Sputnik 9 Is now 109% and it will also protect you from every other virus at the same time :)
