AS For the SP we have so so so far to go yet, if results come in at anything like 300m we are going to be to breaking £25 SP short term imo. Watch this space.

I stand with Kaeren regarding the confirmation that the French are to carry out 1 million tests a month in Schools as being the absolute game changing news of the day.

This is fantastic news due to two primary reasons.

The French are effectively again endorsing PCR as the gold standard for these tests. This is 12 million more new PCR Test volume over the next year ON TOP of the current demand levels.

As far as I can recall, our tests fall under the French re-imbursement scheme so this can go one of two ways: -
a) we could be awarded a slice of government testing contract; it would be about time frankly or
b) we do not get awarded a slice but with the testing demand we pick up further private contract work because existing testing supply will be stretched due to the new extra load of testing a million children a month as it stands.

Win, Win

In addition to this we discover that additional mobile units in the UK are being rolled out, the LFTs are NOT going t be used and something else will be needed in its place.

Just imagine if our government follow the French. What if other countries follow suit? This further strengthens our outlook going forwards.

And finally, the cherry on the cake: USA to spend 50 billion on testing this year. 50 billion !!! our stateside network must pick some of that up, it cannot fail…

What a great news day, unexpected major positive developments external to everything else going on that we are awaiting updates on.

And it has not started getting interesting yet… onwards and upwards.

Not really, its just desperation from ODX shareholders that may shortly come under real pressure.
You have to consider that ODX did a mere £3.2m of revenue and a £1.2m loss in H1. Its fantastic that they can manufacture 25% of the 1 million unit government contract awarded in October but what exactly will that deliver on the full year revenues, an extra £ 4m?? at todays share price they have £100m market cap!
Not a stock i would be holding that's for sure but each to their own. If i was holding ODX stock I would cash the lot in and move it here.
As for any possible debts due, if any, they would be cleared based on whatever credit terms were agreed. This is just desperation talk. If ODX can't make that current order viable and losses continue at the current rate, they will likely need a cash call or further placing of some description imo.

I'm obviously interested to see what development's they come up regarding LFTs, maybe they can produce something more accurate maybe in the "Right Setting" a test of this nature can add value.

The LFT is certainly rendered useless at the moment in the formats that government have been using the Innova test's that's for sure and its credibility completely smashed, so turning perception around would be a fairly difficult task imo. I will reserve judgement until i have more research and we fully understand the quality of the offering.

However, what could be the game changer is the Loop test. IF Novacyt can deliver a LAMP test of high accuracy that runs alongside the Q machine which is what i understand they are about to release then the end user has best of both worlds. Quality highly accurate PCR tests with rapid test option in less than 20 mins with the new LAMP test.
Again the finer details on accuracy and speed is to be detailed shortly but how good is this? Yet another additional revenue stream to come online to further bolster the business.
It just gets better....

Fantastic find, let’s hope they don’t throw baby out with the dishwater and do nothing. If anyone in government has any brains hopefully they will follow the french and roll out proper gold standard pcr tests in schools. It’s no wonder the French be significantly better control than us.

I dislike these bragging posts because anyone coming to the board to research sees them and then questions if its worth investing or if the price is now too high without looking at the fundamentals. Its actually self destructive. They should go and tell the tax man if they want to go bragging.

Tell you what Shaun I really hope your 499m revenue calculation comes in on results day, Jesus what that would do to the Share Price. The market cap is only 700m today. Crazy !!!!
I'm still with my more reserved lower estimate which I adjusted to £ 275m but have to say that everything is pointing to them being above both broker estimates, SP Angel and Numis.
