Short was on the Bourse just after open. SP increased slightly then Short placed.
Very predictable

Incidently, i did put a request in if it was possible for news releases to be issued at different times?, not just 7.00am. Would love a short placed at 9.30 and then news dropped and them blown out the water. Need to mix it up a bit, make it less predictable.

With a new fund buying in, would be great if they took up the slack this afternoon causing the short some pain. Sooner we are off the french index the better.

Window reducing, news inbound, remaining VERY positive as i say, this stock belongs to the bulls and we will reclaim shortly.

I'm really not interested in engaging with you @triumph1 as you a have been a de-ramper of this stock since trying to peddle covid breath tests that never took off a year ago!!! I have no interest what you say.
There is a mass of updates due at any moment, numerous ones that will result in the SP going far north.
The update of the DHSC Q4 position will be established shortly, why am i so certain? well put simply a) DHSC are finally getting their act together and sorting their backlog out and b) Audited accounts are due to be published soon anyhow and if it's not resolved a provision will be shown - clarity either way.

But for all the things i list, the CE Mark, if it is secured for "Home' use in addition to "professional" is the biggie, we can corner a fairly big section of the market with that. Initial capacity is 1 million units a week, i can see it going significantly higher. Oh and if any business knows about securing validations, Novacyt do. They have secured validations on numerous products already and understand the process

I am deeply sorry to read about your friend and wish you and the families involved the strength to get through during this difficult time. I do have first-hand experience as I lost my brother-in-law to Covid, again a relatively fit guy, was a delivery driver had tested clear on an LFT, feeling rough went home, later taken into hospital and a few days later died of Kidney failure because of Covid.

Covid affects different people in different ways, and we still have much to learn.

Some people here in the UK, still just do not get it, if it does not happen to them, it does not happen. I was picking up a prescription from the pharmacy for a family member and whilst I was waiting, a guy in his mid 30s was proceeding to tell me how it was all a conspiracy and did I know how low the death rate was in Staffordshire, as far as he was concerned there is not a pandemic and there has never been one.

Finally, we recently had protests in London over lock downs, meanwhile all the funeral pyres were being shown in India, totally ironic. So, you are not on your own, stupidity over refusing the vaccine is not exclusive to the Philippines we have a high number here in the UK still refusing it despite outbreaks of the Indian variant in the UK.

Not that interested about todays token rise albeit a step the right direction for a change BUT it really feels like things are starting to finally come together.

There are so many catalysts now that will really push the Share Price materially higher and gap up that it kind of feels like we cannot fail to see a material uplift in the SP very soon.

CE Mark Validation will release our LFT product to the market and create positivity and a boost, the 2nd gen Antibody test will do the same, the accounts will be published and clarity one way or the other on the Q4 DHSC issue, i'm convinced that will not only go our way but we could end up gaining from minimum orders not yet invoiced, that's about £27m by my rough calculation, any news of moving onto a main market will add to buying volume and that’s before we even consider new orders, whatever IT-IS are on the brink of releasing, the situation stateside where i'm sure big deals are brewing, M&A activity anytime soon we are well overdue a deal and an ever growing War chest of cash probably north of £140m already to add to it all!!!

AND as a lovely bonus once the SP starts climbing on the back of more and more updates, it will force World Quant to close out, so that’s 1m shares to buy back and Black Rock have not shown their hand yet and something tells me that if they like what Novacyt are doing they will likely add to their 3% position to average down.

Its all to play for as far as i'm concerned. In all Big things come to those that wait... as they say, imo we are on the brink of a SP rally.

Just want to see that CE Validation now for the Antigen LFT for both "Professional" and "Home" use and we can kick start that revenue line off.
Must be due anytime now.
Hopefully SP will gap up then back to pre-crash levels

IE if Novact sell loads of equipment and PCR tests into France they retailer can reclaim the cost from central government?

Clearly we have outgrown the Bourse, the only thing it attracts is day traders and World Quant shorting. We get next to zero business out of France anyhow so why bother. So I'm all for getting the hell off the index.

The issue with the rinse repeat brigade is that the window is ever reducing now. Any moment bigger news is going to drop, we have already tested bottom and we could see Black Rock move in on their position to average it.

Feeling very confident, i'm still adding anyhow. at least a 70/30 chance of a material break out at this fire sale level, Interest increasing, from what i'm hearing, this news is actually being perceived very well indeed

Likely they are awaiting clarity on the product releases and the associated order flows and then put out a fully detailed report. I much prefer this approach to rushing out a Knee Jerk note as sis ODDO.

There is a lot to like here frankly, appreciate discussing the pros and cons but come on, these things take time. They recently released one of the best R&D updates i think i have EVER seen and we are now in a VERY news rich period. A heck of a lot of updates are due over the coming days and weeks. A lot to be positive about.

If you believe in this business and are invested here, rally behind them.... Onwards and upwards from here.

So, we wait with bated breath any moment now news will land IF we have secured the CE mark for our Antigen LFT product AND moreover IF we secure it for BOTH professional and Home use. Exciting times…

GM reported to say that revenues from this additional product line will be SIGNIFICANT and I really believe that will be the case but moreover due to our already established route to market the moment we get the green light on the Validation we can move forward immediately.

Meanwhile, product capacity is moving forward at 1m units a week, I wonder if they will a) Scale further on that capacity or b) license to other manufacturers to get volumes even higher?

Either way this is a fantastic bolt on product on top of everything else they are already delivering on.

Then we come onto the second gen Antibody Test. Just wow, being able to not only test for Antibodies but knowing what level of protection you are at from natural built-up antibodies or from the vaccination. This alone will be another game changer and yet another product line.

Oh, and before I close off, IT-IS have just filed patents for a yet a new product line about to be released – watch this space.

Onwards and upwards as far as I am concerned. The glass is half full here, NOT half empty....

The potential for Versalab is just absolutely amazing.

You can deploy versalab as a static unit or convert a mobile vehicle, kit it out and have a lab onsite almost instantly. Install the donuts and it's good to go….

Now frankly we are not enjoying the full benefits of this wonder yet in the UK, other than within a private setting, NHS Test and Trace are just collecting swobs and sending them for process at the central labs where they have capacity BUT the Whole process could be carried out locally at point of test.

However, just think stateside and other countries with significant land mass and countries with more remote locations they need to reach. This is where Versalab really comes into its own.

I am extremely excited to see what happens next for Novacyt in USA and Canada with this product. We have boots on the ground over there and I can really see Versalab taking off big style.

Time will tell.

Just want to say that this business has possibly one of the strongest R&D teams in the market and an established distribution network that enables them to facilitate market penetration quickly.

The recent R & D update gave a flavour of what is on the brink of delivery. If GM says the additional product line will deliver “significant revenues” then I at least want to give him chance to deliver on that pledge.

Meanwhile the SP has had a royal stuffing. Much brought on by shorters who thrive on retail watching every given minute or share price fluctuation. However, the business itself is not in any distress, in fact its possibly positioned better than ever!! It has no debt and further has in the region of north of £ 140m in the bank!!

Yes, there is a discrepancy on Q4 earnings due to the DHSC contract which ultimately will get resolved one way or another and by god that is well and truly already factored in the share price here and yes, we are awaiting the forward statement which again is due any moment soon together with the full audited accounts and the H1 results.

This is an investment journey not a get rich quick scheme. My advice would be if you are uncomfortable, sell give the traders what they want. They will likely have another go at shorting so go with it, sell no point in stressing…

For me personally, I am sitting on a big paper loss However, I have no intention of selling one share, no matter what. We are already at a fire sale price levels so what is the point? There is not any, I am just slowly accumulating.

DYOR, do your own calculations on the fundamentals and see how they come out. Frankly buying at this level is a total no brainer imo taking all risks into account but each to there own.

Very shortly imo we will see total clarity here. I have every confidence that they will reach mid cap status and every confidence the Share Price will be materially higher than where we are today its just a matter of time.
