I asked the company if it was possible on occasion to drop some later morning news updates rather than always aiming for 7.00am open.
Thought it would be a nice touch if after a few morning shorts got placed they got a royal unexpected spanking.

Numis are also due a further update but will likely also wait for the updates on financials

There will be obvious innovations in this space and I consider the R&D at Novacyt to be world class. Another of their strengths hence, investing here you are investing into an up and coming leading innovator in this space for the future.

I would say that Whilst Versalab Portable is a fine piece of kit and without question there will be demand and it will further add to revenue streams, it's not their most innovative so far imo, much more to come:-

It will further support immediate testing and diagnostics in hard to reach locations which whilst fantastic, they were already innovating in the mobile testing kit field back in Oct 15 with early versions of Gensig used for PCR tests carried out in hard to reach locations such as the Amazon:-

The next immediate thing we are are waiting on, excepting the Antigen LFT and the 2nd Gen Antibody test is of course the 2 gene and 3 gene update which i understand should be next week.

There is also something else i'm trying to get further varification of which i heard about on Friday that could be significant, still just doing the digging at the moment.

No, No, its all down to the specific brand of Vaccine you have, you see if you have the Pfizer jab the micro chip part is already built in. Connects you to the National Grid and I'm told unofficially, but don't tell anyone, you can also pick up free wi-fi

Also, my son told me earlier that for men, having the vaccine makes your todger grow 3 inches but it later turned out that it was only if you had the Johnson & Johnson version :)

Our 2020 year being audited at the moment and provision /ideally outcome of dispute will clarify position. If unaltered we would be looking at EBITDA 210m Euro PLUS 101m CAB.
Of course an adjustment could reduce the profits for that year but would a worse case provision, based on our research be any be greater than £27m??? It could go the other way and increase revenues if allowed....

Very, Very rough and other factors blah blah i know but that works out at a takeout value (based on status quo) between 2.4bn Euro and 4.0bn Euro / £2bn to £3.4bn / £ 27 to £ 47 SP
Even factoring in unlikely Bad News from Write offs in 2020 i'm still calculating:-
Absolute minimum of 2.1bn Euro/ £1.8bn / £25 SP
Optimistic? Pie in the sky??
Bottom line: The business is worth the going rate and we are seeing a whole run of deals currently at significant multiples of where we are today. But of course everyone knows that i believe the company to be materially undervalued anyhow and its been this way frankly for some time now.
Will be interesting to see how events unfold here for sure.

Suggestion Short closing further this afternoon. BUT no guarantees, they could re-open. However, as we are entering a news rich period and trade volume low hence probably not a good time to be short but you never know

You are very right, we are due this update at any moment. If it's not at open then i would suspect early next week. The more positive news out the better.

Also, this is additional revenues on top of everything else. There is more airport travel testing potential going forwards than tests carried out at the the peak of the pandemic in the UK.

Revenues this year for Novacyt will beat expectations imo especially with the additional revenues from the WW sales of LFTs due to come online shortly.

Well we are now less than 3 hours from finding out....

What i have learnt today that i wasn't aware of was that a fund in this case MSCI Global can put out a note in this case on the 11th May to confirm they will be closing their fund position on the 27th May (14 days notice) which is 2.1m shares.

This in turn gives these shorting vultures with this inside knowledge 14 days to place shorts knowing they have a higher chance of being rewarded as a big sale is coming and the business is on an index with such low trading volumes the short has more punch.

Its also evident from some of the posts here that a shorting attack was in play.

I feel much better about the situation thanks to Larry knowing that the trade at close wasn't likely due to pending news releases like the one the other day.

What we now need is that flow of positive news which is coming to bolster new investor buying support. Then these positions will need to be brought back and the Share Price can start its full recovery.

Well we are going to be on the look out at 7.00am that's for sure.
If there is a bad news RNS then we can 100% conclude the short yesterday was placed in advance of the news and likewise the sell on the close tonight 100% insider trading. The corruption and dirty dealing on that French index is a total disgrace if that's the case.
I wonder if their is a leak when they convert the English RNS wording to French before its published live and that window enables this insider dealing. The night before the previous RNS there was a well timed sell on the bourse.

See what tomorrow brings, i'm hoping its a genuine trade but if it smells like a Rat, looks like a Rat, then it probably is one.
