We shouldn’t need to speculate. Simple as that.

As the different dosing was caused by an error, they have to go ahead with two full doses as that was tested in older age groups. 60% for a flu vaccine is pretty good if it translates. As you’ve said, the conclusion is that testing must remain for quite some time.

The quotes are taken from the Cytiva webinar where David Wilson presented. The one where he said the govt could take their full production. At no point have they said they’re stopping development of the drool version, but as an investor my confidence level has dropped given the delays and the introduction of a lower nasal version. If the nasal version is equal in terms of usability, unless there is a swab shortage, who cares about a saliva test?

Doh, don’t envy you mate. My work has rattled on, just from home which I don’t mind. Good that you’ve got other work coming in. One way or the other (ideally mass home testing) normality will return. It’s just pure frustration for me at the as yet unfulfilled potential. If WaffAl comes good, all will be forgiven but that last RNS was an absolute stinker. It’s time for our scientist CEO to venture out of the lab, stop tinkering and get a real consumer product to market.

Suspect it’s because in the real world saliva is too variable. They probably received that feedback from LSTM (remember them?) and faffed about for months before sucking it up and changing sample type. I’d rather know this for a fact than speculate but that’s Waffly Al for you (hope the name takes off)
