There's no mass testing. It's only in certain areas at the discretion of the local authorities. The only regular additional testing is NHS staff. You're correct that no one knows the prevalence rate but there's no need for a tin hat. Awacta are indeed turkeys voting for Xmas, the more successful they are in driving down the prevalence, the smaller the market.

As with EGTP, my view is based on experience. The first thing that happens when you're looking to make a deal with anyone is to put in place an NDA. Been there and done it.

If you were negotiating with an individual party would you want an NDA in place? Or would you want them free to disclose details of negotiations with anyone they fancied that could undermine future negotiations with other parties? It's not about promotion and being able to communicate progress with the tests. It's about commercial sensitivity and I'm sure it's standard practice. As I've said, an NDA being in place has no bearing on the seemingly never ending delays and p.ss poor waffly comms.

Ruane and Sequoia Flooring think it’s worth 120p a share exc any Covid tests. That bloke at Premier Miton said the same. They raised a bucket load of cash for oncology not Covid testing. WaffAl keeps mentioning it (he would due to delays), they’re on the verge of moving in to the clinic and that is genuinely transformational for a tiny biotech firm

He’s a master in disappointment. Put out 2 RNSs, one with the deal and another talking about the successful production of a batch to move us in to clinical validation. I can’t say I’m surprised that that’s all we’re getting in this transformational Q4 that’s ended up being a damp squib. Nothing negative, just underwhelming. Ah well...

This mutation is a bit of a wake up call that this fecker of a flu will be around for some time. It looks like it’s going to be endemic and we’ll need variants of the vaccines to be produced regularly as with the seasonal flu. Along with it will be the constant need to be tested, I don’t know, maybe they could invent a test that could tell you what kind of flu you have. I just wish I could think of a catchy name for it.

In theory this news should be the reverse of the vaccine news, possibly great for the share price and Awacta’s fortunes as timescales look to have turned on their favour. Perhaps a test some time in 2024 won’t have missed the boat after all. Not so great otherwise as I think we’ve all had enough of these lockdown shenanigans. One thing is for certain, it’s all ended in tiers.
