@TRAY - okay I'll take it on face value that not everything may be updated at the same time and websites cannot be totally relied on - I mean I hope you are correct. Because honestly it would appear very poor showing if POW didn't support GMET - it's just that that RNS sequence when Mrs CHang exercised was very clear - 1st - stated this is what she exercised, 2nd - this is her updated holding as a result of that exercise.

Therefore: POWs shareholding = about 5om shares

as of 30th April 2024 POW held 57.35 % of 94, 852,328 total shares = 54,426,265 shares (GMET Website)

if they now hold 53,998,159 shares as you state - then something is not adding up here

Would appear they have not taken up their warrants and have actually sold some shares?

Just looking at the RNS it would appear that POW did not exercise their warrants.

According to GMET's website as of April 30th 2024 POW held 57.38% of the shareholdings.

Okay since then we've have the private placement and warrant exercise.

Today it's report that POW only hold 50.57% of the shares.

I mean, correct me, but that does kinda lead me to believe they didn't exercise to maintain their % ownership. Am I right? Pretty poor showing.

Kinda glad I'm not invested in POW, perhaps they just didn't have the cash to exercise?

Of course the 'exciting offtake phase' might take considerable time to get through - those agreements are very involved processes - but yeah great...

Now that DEMIR are no longer paying for all the CGNR office costs (which I'm sure are not insubstantial) I'm wondering how quickly they'll burn through the remaining cash reserves?

Was all the pointless who-ha about base metal potential a pathetic attempt to raise the price/interest ahead of that raise (?)

I really doubt a new JV partner will be signed up anytime soon, if... Any major will take time to perform its due diligence on the property which I assume they couldn't even have started prior to DEMIR's departure. So I'm thinking IF that's the road we're on it won't happen until in or around Q4 earliest.

Raises the potential of an imminent private placing - and at these levels any discount is painful.

So I'm keeping an eye and thinking if this does spike down to 5p the risk-reward may justify a reentry. There's nothing right now that entices...

I did raise an eyebrow at the appointment of a second broker, always raises the possibility that they're thinking about a raise - pure conjecture obviously. But if a raise is incoming it does colour my opinion on whether or not they are in-line for a US Gov't grant anytime soon/imminently.

When HAA announced the primary bank conditional agreement - did it feel like it was going to happen before it did? I can't honestly, remember but I think it just came out of the blue (I mean in as much as HAA had been talking about forever, BUT the actual announcement just landed one day). Right(?).

Re the whole uranium thing, we're a little way off but great strides are being made at the moment with Nuclear Fusion technology, which doesn't require uranium, BUT does need Tungsten...GMET

@donkey - I agree with your logic and was thinking the same, If you don't think this is going to happen then (given the enlarged share base after the last raise) I think this is where you sell in anticipation of another raise and getting back in in the low 0.50s.

personally I think it is probably close to a go, no-go resolution at this moment in time, so I've placed my bet - and honestly it does kinda feel like a bet rather than an investment.

Beyond that in a few months we're also expecting Saudi drill results...so ya' know more variables to consider.

I just think the Prof is very loose with his choice of words - I can look at OMI, GGP, AMRQ, GMET, even KEFI and say I've more chance of making money from these short term.

Hands up I've exited CGNR from my ISA, but maintain a core holding in my SIPP, which I'll take another look at in a couple of months.

I'm fed up with no progress and all the blah blah blah.

Opportunity cost is rising rapidly given the gold price momentum and this stock ain't going anywhere.

Also expect a raise any moment.

So this is either:

A. Happening, or

B. Another raise incoming.

Need to get the drill going, expand & improve the resource, demonstrate greater longevity and people may start becoming interested.

As a rule of thumb always assume deadlines won't be met promptly...I never expect them to be met early

But, ya' know, fingers crossed...
