You make a good point @Tiggrr, I'm wondering if really good news lands, because of lack of potential liquidity here, could punters buy POW instead? That said I haven't experienced any liquidity issues when I've bought decent sized chunks of stock (i.e. above 100k)

BUT as you say I'm pretty sure LTHs here will top slice providing extra liquidity.

The SP here can react to the smallest volume of trade - frankly I welcome all viewpoints on a board and frankly if investors are swayed one way or t'other then that's entirely their right, others have the right to think exact opposite and go against a possibly temporary market move.

I agree with LW if the RNS comes out with wording clarifying that SHF will fully fund phase, no ifs or buts (as I think it probably will) then this is buying opp. and if you believe this and have funds to hand and are so inclined then by all means step in and buy.

As I've said earlier it doesn't suit me to sell at these levels, but every book is different and I'm not calling LW out, he has to protect his capital as he says. This is AIM after all.

To be clear they don't require $81m to be up and running - I think the number is $37m which will get them to revenue generation, and from that point I think Greg made the point they could self-fund for the remainder, build the separation plant etc.

It does sound as though they're going off the idea of Oluvil Port, which as we've all seen is basically a beach, but more now as Greg has hinted it may not be big enough anyway - so we're probably looking at increased transportation costs to another port (offset by whatever remediation they'd earmarked for Oluvil).

I guess perhaps one of the reasons he may have sounded a bit woolly in the CRUX interview was because Sheffield may be asking these exact questions given their experience elsewhere, so the path may not be a straightforward as it was when MF was running things.

@BBN you may well be correct, we need to see what the RNS says. I think it's Greg's loose wording during interviews that has placed uncertainty over this deal with Sheffield - the construction of it. The fact that they've done XZY with other parties in the past is no predictor of future actions.

Hopefully, you're correct and we do see the inherent value being recognised sooner rather than later by the market/a predator, let's see that RNS wording.

Sellers now may buy back if fears are not realised.

@XEL I would agree I probably wouldn't be a seller at these levels as I'm sure better exit prices will be available.

Okay we know OF has been very careful about spending money and I can only assume that the announcement today of the engagement of these three consultancies is with a view to Tungsten outlook and perhaps some guidance from Madame Chang on what to do to obtain grant/obtain better grant funding.

@Ando - well he went ahead and did another one after that - nothing as bad but didn't say much either.

I understand your fears given the number of shares you hold here - but I'm certain you'll be able to exit in profit as you have excellent entry levels. I'm having to bite the bullet - but I will await the next RNS see the detail, probably won't be as bad as myself & LW fear but I do think we're counting the days until Sheffield takeover everything at a healthy discount to the NPV.

SO now for me it's about opportunity cost - the market in natural resources is starting to pick up and one of the principle of investing in the exploration space is to invest for big discoveries - and really the size of this resource is not doing it for me - they should have started drilling to expand much sooner - the GSMB take literally forever to get results out - I think the last time we were waiting for about 4/5/6months for the drill results - utterly hopeless and even then they didn't provide analysis on the components.

But even at Greg's most optimistic resource limit, 100m mt, we'll only have 50% of course, because he's 'giving away' 50% it's just not big.

Another expensive lesson learned - I actually think the best result might be for Sheffield to make a bid, although I wouldn't expect anything north of 10p.

Could just be a phrasing thing, but I think I'm adjusting my exit strategy as I don't think CMET is being upfront - this could all change on the next RNS, but that Crux interview has shaken my belief that current CMET mgt have our best interests at heart.

Seems to be lots of headlines on M&A for oil majors: Hess&Chevron, Conoco&Marathon. Looks like companies are trying to shore up assets - wondering if there will eventually be a trickledown to juniors with assets....

Happy to remain/increase longs at these levels.

Not disagreeing with LW or Ando and frankly, given what Greg said in that interview and his demeanour I wouldn't be surprised if he's facilitating it with the backing of the Aussie shareholders - all Aussies together.

At this stage I think even 12p looks farfetched. And I can't see why anyone would step in to take a chunk of stock here. That disastrous interview, which should have been nothing but a glowing report, did nothing but raise loads of questions over the long term.

I continue to feel confident a deal will get signed, and reasonably soon, it's the landscape after that that concerns me.

I agree this guy is clearly not good at interviews, even the interviewer looked confused at times and I don't know how CMET overcome that.

There are two possibilities here either: he gives away too much of his thinking by his answer format and apparent muddled approach, or he's just not experienced enough to deal with media. My fear is the former may be more accurate .

Today's responses have capped even my expectations of the future SP, God knows what they've done to Ando's and Sebo's.

Yes I was very put-off by his words - who the hell says we'll 'give it away' FFS!

I got the impression he's not that invested in CMET, he seems way too close to the guy at Sheffield and your fear about them getting it on the cheap feels uncomfortably realistic.

Another great interview.

This guy just inspires confidence - he's clear, visionary and not afraid of signposting risks.

I was very interested to hear his thoughts on Chinese producers looking to shift production outside of China to circumvent the export restrictions.

Definitely backable.

I thought it was interesting what he said about the potential size of the resource too.

Not 200m tons, I think he put it in a range 50-150(?)m tons potentially, currently 17.5m, so really not ever going to be one of the worlds best resources volume wise, but decent grades. It does cap the potential of the project.
