@DIbs - it could be that LB did not necessarily walked, but actually looking into the future CMET may have felt a little uncomfortable being tied so closely to the Chinese (I know I did). Sheffield for sure is in a different ballpark compared to LB, but if that's what's available and they can progress the project then we have to move on.

Interestingly Strandline has sold its Tanzania mineral sands to Shenghe Resources - another Chinese outfit.

What's also interesting here there's clearly a $15.8m grant earmarked for Fireweeds Tungsten Project, although it hasn't been awarded yet. Details of their Mactung project here: https://fireweedmetals.com/mactung-project/

- ~650 m of untested strike length between the resource and where the skarn units crop out out at surface provide exploration upside.

If I saw the NED buying a significant number of shares, rather than just collecting a quarterly fee for the use of her name on the company's NED list (which is what most NEDs basically do) then I'd view this differently...

Interesting slide there from a representative of DoD in USA, showing the schedule for which it'll provide grants. You can see that they're planning to initiate the award of grants for Tungsten projects from late Q4 2024 through to about Q3 2027.

I now understand why OF decided to proceed with PM drilling ahead of the issue of any grant funds - he's taken the bull by the horns, raised privately with Purebond, and pulled the trigger.

Totally agree with how he's proceeded - he clearly had insight into this schedule.

Really excellent potential here and immediate benefits, answers a lot of coming up concerns around Shell loan etc. I'm sure the ORCA guys are good negotiators but this approach also demonstrates how attractive the SNS licence is to industry incumbents and recognised as such.

This is a NED position, these guys get paid for turning up at so many meetings a year - it's not an executive director role.

I honestly wouldn't read too much into it. If it was a full executive board role I'd be more interested.

Would you rather the Advisors £1.36m had been paid out of the last raise, or hold on to as much of that as possible to get us further along the road towards being in a position to draw down on the financing, by paying them issuing shares at the basically the current level, maintaining our precious cash reserves????

HAA has done the correct thing here.

Wouldn't rule out a spike by any means - I remember HE1 (not so long ago, so not a feat of memory) the long battered shareholders and SP reacted (overreacted) to the initial goodnews.

I hope HAA will give a brief outline on the improved economics of TK with the gold price improvement (obviously we can't market it to spot, but there's still a pretty good uplift here with most analysts now indicating a floor in the range $1900-$2,000. The current AISC are really fantastic, but I'm wondering if he feels they still hold or should we allow for an inflation factor?

Good appointment, a distraction (?), I'd half-hoped on the headline that it was the Prof stepping down to take a more backseat role on the board.

@tintin -yes I'm a little confused myself. Perhaps in the Q&A on Wednesday he'll clarify but I'm not sure AFC has actually formally approved (?), perhaps has someone indicated earlier they are simply drawing up the docs but HAA has been made aware it is approved?

Or perhaps I've just missed it in the RNS (?)
