Things might be changing with the rising gold price I guess and the fact the major players haven't been exploring for a long time.

Fact is a major party walked - didn't try to get another major involved to replace them, or maybe they did I dunno know, pure conjecture.

ProfC's style is misleading - everything was great with Demir, but in reality we now know it wasn't, he was going for a mine by and of 2023 - turns out that was BS. These vague comments in interviews, is a style that irritates me at least and I don't believe what he's implying at this stage. And the fact that he thinks if he keeps talking and saying the same thing on repeat is simply not acceptable.

I would feel more encouraged if he took a backseat and allowed a GEO takeover, and I mean really take over not with the Prof sitting behind him monitoring.

For hundreds of years everyone has known Ireland has gold, but not great concentrated quantities - CGNR have discovered 2 gold trends but (and I've always said this) they need to drill deep to see if we do have commercial potential.

It's nonsense for him to continually reference Fosterville, it's meaningless, for them to justify that comment they have to drill deep, just like Fosterville.

I have to say the Sponge interview was one of the best I've heard. Not like the usual ones that are simply trying to go for the soundbite/headline. I really understood Mike's vision, the market, the product and his realistic assessment of the pitfalls and upside.

Have a feeling it's probably speculative short term longs coming in ahead of JV/offtake announcement, in the near future...whatever date that may be.

Honestly, I listened to the latest today and I just don't believe he's got any serious interest here and if there is any interest it's very early stage - I have been reducing my stake in the stock since the start of this year and seriously considering exiting the balance of my holding.

@LW - who knows is the honest answer. BUT that said I think most of the warrant holders, were pretty sticky large shareholders like POW, Madame Chang and a couple of other large shareholders that hold about 70% (?) of the shares so I think there is of course potential for sales, just as ordinary warrantless shareholders can sell into any rally, but I think that potential is limited by the share structure.

The Company has therefore received notices to date for the exercise of a total of 14,431,633 warrants at an exercise price of 10.75p per ordinary share ("10.75p Warrants"), raising a total of £1,551,401 of new equity for the Company.

The exercise period for the 10.75p Warrants ends at midnight this Friday 10 May 2024, other than in respect of 991,277 10.75p Warrants held by parties that are deemed to be in possession of inside information (as defined in the UK Market Abuse Regulation), where under the terms of the 10.75p Warrant Instrument the exercise period shall be extended to 7 days after the date upon which it would no longer constitute a breach of the UK Market Abuse Regulation to exercise the 10.75p Warrant.

In addition, there are a further 18,420,222 warrants outstanding with an exercise price of 17p per Ordinary Share ("17p Warrants"). The exercise period of the 17p Warrants ends at midnight on 10 May 2025, unless the holder is deemed to be in possession of inside information (as defined by the UK Market Abuse Regulation).

The big boys don't sign deals on hopes m dreams, they need defined JORC deposits - I'm not disagreeing the JORC should increase exponentially going forward, but as I've been saying for years like the preverbal broken record, they need to drill/explore more, then you can expand the resource.

I know they've finally put those plans into actions and I eagerly await the results. As I'm sure we all do.

Important point is the resource is tiny in comparison to many mineral sands projects and simply won't attract interest from the likes of Kenmare/Rio with the current JORC.

Potential issues with LB & Sheffield:

> LB may want everything but at unattractive terms

> Sheffield may justt not be in a position to provide that amount of finance on their own to secure the deal. it's one thing to aquire 10-14% of a company with this market cap quite another to stump up $81m in financing.

Hopefully will be resolved, but as I said it's not done until it's signed, and JV/offtake contracts can take forever with lawyers/tax consultants arguing clause by clause.

I'm surprised we haven't had more RNS on warrant exercise - I think there is still a significant chunk available. Hopefully, at the last moment. I'm guessing that POW have not exercised yet (bizarre) as there hasn't been an RNS to update their % holding in the company, as we did for Madame Chang.
