Wasn't there supposed to be drilling this autumn, to expand the resource? As of Nov 18th no announcement. I wonder if it's been postponed to save cash until they've secured financing.

I mean the comms this week has been utterly bizarre, bordering on stupid or some sort of random heads up - going on past experience here I'm leaning toward stupid.

Hmm...not sure why they would highlight he'll meet with offtakers - I thought the deal was more or less sown up?

Nice summation, Catbert, of course what investors need to remember that all this takes time, more time than is ever indicated, and then more time ontop of that.
It may be a reason why risk is been taken off the table in the sector as a whole given the macro environment.

Given the bizarre random video released yesterday from SL I'd like to make a suggestion for a follow-up:

MF, how about heading over to the Oluvil Port and showing us around there?

I have to hope he hasn't spent a week in SL just diggin' shallow holes in the sand.

@Justone - well I reckon then you've picked up about 1m shares since the AGM - that's impressive.

All the points you've listed are what attracted me too to this investment opportunity. The Business has been plagued by 'stuff' since then but hell 'stuff' happens in business. The underlying investment case remains as good as it was, better. As long as there remains appetite in the market for our product, which I think there is (currently).

I hope your and mine and everyone else's faith in the opportunity is rewarded sooner rather than later though I don't predict a lot more selling at these levels.

@Justone I agree with a lot of what you've said here. I topped up at these levels recently too, a decent chunk. But until I see more concrete newsflow from the company I'm not inclined to buy more. I suspect that's a view reflected by many others. So I do hope MF & co are pushing on all fronts to expedite the offtake agreements and all the other stuff...

I hear and understand the frustrations here but there is a fundamental shift in power here as regards releasing results/data.

Demir has taken over and they now hold that power.

Demir is a private company so basically it doesn't give a fig about shareholders/stakeholders in the public domain (exchange-based). CGNR cannot release data unless Demir gives it to them. That's the trade-off, yes CGNR struck a pretty good deal for the JV going forward but in doing so it has, to a large extent, surrendered control over the flow of data back to the market.

Not sure it's boredom, more likely the opportunity cost calculation and macro conditions.
