I have to say I too sold out of AGY at around 25p, not because I lost faith but because I knew it would be some time before meaningful trial news. It's a great little company and was going really well, a big shame this has happened. I too had it on my watchlist but when the CFO departed that was the red flag for me.
Hope if comes out of this but my feeling is it may be takenover at a bargain basement price, or...

it is amusing to read this board sometimes - all the drama generated over nothing around the agreed funding (from what I can see anyway)
That said though I don't think the SP will reflect true value of the company until production increase achieved and confirmed. Great as far as I, and other, accumulators are concerned.
Anything below 0.8p is great buy for me given current status.

Had the same issue with CS on CGO - I've suggested that they relook at their platform rather than saying the rest of the market is wrong.

just been told my trading issue with one platform is:
"So I can see there is currently a dealing restriction on this holding, as for whatever reason the company is reporting its shares as part of a collective investment scheme, as opposed to shares in an ordinary company. As this error is at the company end, this isn't something we are able to have them amend in most circumstances. From what my colleagues have described to me, I don't believe we would be able to facilitate purchases in this company until they have corrected this issue."

I was able to buy a large chunk of stock this morning through one broker, but through another platform I'm not even getting quotes - very strange.

I guess it'll fun 'n games for a while longer...

ok I think we should all give ourselves a break here.

We're all bitterly disappointed the way things have gone, we've all lost a lot of money - some realised, some unrealised - and let's face it the management response just sucks.

If only MF could face up to a frank interview, it might be that the conjecturing and disappearing down various rabbit warrens might be reduced, or worst fears realised. Either way, I'd like to know...

One thing we both agree on at least is that we need to hear from MF. Shameful behaviour really, him hiding behind the sofa like this.

Important to remember why we have Tavira - it was as a result of our original individual brokers joining them. SO these are people who were brokers to the company prior to Tavira and prior to WH Ireland. SO I can assume that the BoD @CMET have good relationships with them:

@color, I agree I think dropping WH Ireland is cost cutting - BUT also perhaps because the, by now, draft offtake agreements mean it's an unnecessary expense to retain two brokers as they won't be needed.

You can take all this as either glass half-full/empty. I'm still invested so clearly I'm half-full...

important to remember Tavira is NOT a new appointment - they were joint brokers with WH Ireland.

Important to remember that the investigation, is a technical one, about the share/ownership structure rather than any improprieties. As such I think a resolution is in sight once we can get everyone 'around the table' as it were, but as the previous RNS indicated this is likely subject to the appointed of a new Chairman at GSMB - therefore, that's the headline I'm looking for each day in the SL press.

Re Tavira, no idea, but perhaps it's part of a cost-cutting exercise?
Being very optimistic it may also be an indication of no immediate fund raise? (I know I'm grasping at straws in the force 10 gale)
Would like to see MF in a podcast to judge his body language and thoughts around the IML suspension - this could be an unbelievable buy if it's only a technical delay...or is it the nail in the coffin as others think?

Not surprisingly reading the Chairman's statement he doesn't seem overly concerned with the IMLs' suspension. But I hope they are suspending all expense related activity until that suspension is lifted, in order to conserve cash - sounds like they are.
I'm wondering how easy it could be to resolve this dispute on share structure with the BOI & GSMB - I mean instead of arguing the point could CMET/Redgate/Damsila pass a series of Board resolutions in order to achieve it? But I'm guessing the delay may be more to do with key posts at the GSMB being vacant.
Good to hear the large offtakers remains there ready to deal.

I have to say I did think the $1,700/$1,650 didn't look as conservative as everyone seemed to think, but I've had a look at the forward curve and there is a gradual price increase to above $2,000 by 2028, so I'll admit I understand better the gold price they've used.
3 months delay...okay (what's 3 months, if that's what it is) but that also means I think it'll be traders moving the SP around now for a bit longer until we get that production confirmation.

not sure why people think $1,700 gold price is conservative, okay yes it would be if the last two years we had an average of $2, 300 but right now the spot is about $1,820 and not so long ago certainly lower than $1,700.

In the last 10 yrs gold has hit a low of $1,050 and high of $2,070...

hmm...makes you wonder...
