I'm not that surprised to see the SP stalled. I don't expect the current operations at Marsfontein to have a major financial impact on the company. So might even see this pullback to the 0.95p level we were stuck at for quite a while

For me it's still about TR & Ggoo. That's what I'm waiting for. Other stuff is nice as it's something new to chew over in the interim, but I don't expect anything major from it.

I mean I had assumed that the restructuring was done in consultation with the GSMB otherwise why incur the costs & time & effort in restructuring if we're submitting blind to the GSMB (crazy, right?)

SO OKAY I'm assuming we're awaiting the bureaucracy within the GSMB that would enable them to reinstate the IMLs....

I've been following CGNR for quite a while, I remember ProfC from many many years ago.
I've had a a small placeholder stake here for a while to ensure I kept an eye on things. Things that peaked my interest were the fact that there was a strategic partner gazumping (effectively), they have secured a pretty nice partnership agreement etc.

But for me, the game changer came yesterday - because all of the previous is stuff is next to useless without the geology. I know many have been convinced about the geology, including the Prof. For me it came yesterday with those grades. I don't know what might be lurking down below (aka Fosterville comparisons) but damn, we have it up top.

I think it's only a matter of time before the market wakes up now and yesterday I moved long and short term funds in. It's hard to think of Ireland as large gold producing geography like Australia or having the potential that Greenland might have, but that lagging belief/understanding is currently providing opportunities...

I think people may have missed this today - I certainly did until my YouTube feed was refreshed - unbelievable the RNSs don't show up on LSE.
But there's now been enough coverage so that you would hope the market will take note...as to what it'll do is another matter altogether...

I have to say listening and reading everything today, it's the most bullish I've been about CGNR in a long time.

@ ECHO, ah well now, as with every company in the Natural Resource space, that would be a geological matter.

Agreed TR will provide a significant bump to SP.

But if they can pull it off, for me Ghaghoo will offer a 'company-making' valuation...

no idea where we'll be, no real idea as to today's move - perhaps momentum is in our favour now and hopefully for the more fundamental investment strategists (like myself) we are closing in on potential big news on two other projects (TR & Ggoo).

I realise they had to publish details of the restructuring immediately, but I'm hoping that they've done this in close consultation with the GSMB to ensure it will meet whatever requirements they have to reinstate the IMLs. I'm sure this is the case - in which case I would assume another RNS pretty damn quickly confirming IMLs have been reinstated.

After which, given we've been in 'advanced offtake discussions' for YEARS, I would expect to see the RNS detailing the offtake.

it's all a bit hazy. Usual CMET vaguery... This definitely needs spelling out and revised project economic data.

at least 200k on the bid, clearly there's buying interest but they don't want to push it above 5p, I understand.

Actually for us that's pretty good volume.
This share can move materially on much smaller vols, there isn't a lot free-floating.
This doesn't feel like an upcoming placing in the way it has previously here and I'm leaning more towards the IMLs being reinstated as foreshadowed by the recent rns, as well as recent chatter on Doc's podcast and Vox Market technical analyses.

I topped up after the Doc Podcast - I mean he's right, when they get the IMLs back this thing should be off to the races, especially if offtake close, if there is a placing (50-50) I don't expect it to be huge just enough to tide things over, so I'm not overly worried about it.
