Conroy meets many criteria13 May 2023 11:50
I've listened to a lot of successful investors in the junior mining/exploration sector and many have the same criteria when it comes to choosing their investments:
1. Management with skin in the game - applies to CGNR
2. Aiming for a big resource - we have a small JORC defined already and clearly listening to ProfC with a newly discovered gold district, fully under control of the JV, they are targeting many million of ounces.
3. Cash requirements/at bank - with the JV agreement we have no major cash requirements up to the construction stage for each identified mine - so years from now.
4. Number of shares/dilution - only 45m shares here, I mean come on folks we're all aware of other juniors with billions of shares issued and not as far a long as CGNR - further dilution is unlikely as no need to raise funds.
5. Strategic partner - we have a major strategic partner onboard, funding everything to construction.
6. Jurisdiction risk - I'm hearing this more and more, and personally with rising geopolitical tensions this have become very important to me. Ireland does not present any jurisdiction risk for me at this stage in the JVs development of the gold district.
So when the tide rises as the trickle-down starts from the major miners and reaches the small explorers I would expect CGNR to rank high in choice for potential investors.
