Yes, reading through the announcements there remains a very big question mark over AGY's future. Very sad to see the company in this position after demonstrating so much promise previously. I exited in the 20s but that was more luck than judgement.

Yes, now we're listed on LSE I've started to buy, slowly.

@SidR - yup that's m whole issue with the CMET's teams response to this crisis they 'appear' to be very passive, just allowing things to happen to them.

This may be unfair and I guess there's only so much detail they can go into, even in an RNS, although they do state they've been lobbying and imply that the recent news from COPE was as a result of this (" Our complaints and lobbying efforts in Sri Lanka appear to be having a positive impact. ")- but even then thing like letting us know that MF is in Sri Lanka talking to officials would demonstrate a more proactive approach (if he's there ofc).

They've basically reposted the article I've posted in the previous thread, not overly impressed. They haven’t said what concrete steps They've taken to regain the licences. It's all bit rah-rah and no substance, asual with the cmet execs.

I wonder how 'lose' the prof might be with his language?

The comment about mine location to be determined by year is an obvious candidate - it didn't sound thought through at all - and so I wonder how many other quick answers might be off the cuff so to speak.

Er...it might be just me but has anyone else noticed something bizarre on the #cgnr twitter feed - like mostly everything has suddenly disappeared.

@Malcolm - thanks, I didn't know. I entered at this number of shares so that's my viewpoint. But from here I don't foresee any great dilution given the terms of the JV, unless Demir walk.

Not just that but we've avoided the massive share dilutions already executed in those entities, I mean only 45m shares here, I think ECR over 1bn ROCK nearly 1.5bn

The only other share in this sector, at this stage, I like as much as CGNR is AMRQ, but it has a much higher valuation at 100m although it also has a pile of cash sitting in the BS too.

@Troajan - I meant being misled by comments on this board.

What would be good would be a geologist-only fact-based no marketing-hype BS interview from CGNR (DEMIR would be great too, but won't happen) to explain in detail the meaning and implications of everything so people here aren't misled.

And what about that high level Sri Lankan partner? Why did they even bother with him if he's no infuence?

I don't know how this will ultimately turn out - not sure MF has demonstrated he's the guy for a fight.

I can't think there'll be many investors rushing to invest in Sri Lankan Mineral resources having seen the way this crowd of crooks and thieves have behaved here and in the case of Titanium Sands.

The only niggling thing at the back of my mind (aside from not finding gold in commercial quantities for extraction) is the possibility of Turkey doing something, on a Russian scale, in the Aegean against Greece over the oil reserves. Tensions have been ramping up there but it's not being reported.

Not sure how it might impact operations here, I'd hope the jv company is fully protected.
