Can't help but think the recent mentions of CMET by the DOC podcast has helped to raise the profile and the short-term potential for SP increases

thinking about last weeks' RNS, a corporate restructuring is a pretty easy thing to accomplish and it sounds like the 'pragmatic' approach is basically coming down to a negotiation on how much more tax/royalty CMET will have to pay to adhere to the 'spirit' of the law.
This could all happen pretty quickly in that case and if offtakers are still keen they might just be waiting for this final accomplishment and the reinstatement of the IMLs.
Who knows....

I guess the other positive here, for me at least, is that it doesn't seem that CMET has to await the senior replacement appointments before if can resolve this situation.

Correct, JF, plus although there are a number of small trades going through (there always has been) there are some meaty decent seized trades also. We all know it doesn't take much to shift the SP here, either way, and it does feel as though someone is trying to gently position build - ahead of what I don't know ...

as Chirpy pointed out Titanium Sands are proceeding to apply for Mining Licences ( https://www.miningweekly.com/article/australian-firm-applies-for-mineral-sands-mining-licence-in-sri-lanka-2023-01-23 ) so perhaps there is still trust in local authorities, after all TS have been through it too, if they are proceeding.
Hopefully, it's just time.

The number of times and excitement with which JC always mentions Ghaghoo leads me to believe that this is the company making project. IN fact when you look at the project it seems to be that good that I don't understand why someone else hasn't stepped in to take it off the market.

Yup I feel 2023 is going to be a pivotal year. One way or another.
