I was listening to a YOUTube channel last night - I think it was Mining Education or something. The guest made the point that he's looking at indicated Jorcs against company valuation stating that valuations below $20 per share look interesting as historically that's the low end of the valuation scale.
But this is against INDICATED resource not to include inferred, I haven't done the calc yet on CGNR but regardless I would want to see the JORC expanded significantly.

From around 40p down to sub 18p, on? Yeah maybe something has shifted on this.
No point Prof C continually saying the same thing and pointing at past successes - this is a totally different project.
Could just be that this is all going to take a lot longer and that's it. So investors moving funds elsewhere for time being. But there hasn't been huge volume on the drift down.
I think it's maybe just boredom - but that's the sector - and lack of stellar, appetizing, headline grades...
Will watch to see how it reacts if it descends to 10p level...

What irritates me each time I listen to Prof C's disbelief around the mcap is that he talks about assets and discovery as though he's got an 8m jorc resource. He doesn't, it's only 500k it's not even the mere 1m he intimates the company should be valued at now.
Long way to go...
Market values it here because at 500k resource there won't be a mine, at least Demir won't finance one it's not enough for them.

I think the unfortunate truth here is that the 'market' simply has no interest in CMET right now, for a number of reasons:
1. dodgy AIM miner perception
2. only 24% (44m) shares float, and a significant chunk in 'sticky' hands as someone recently put it on twitter (liquidity)
3. Resource is too small, way too small compared to other mineralsands miners, even explorers like SVML, this resource needs serious expansion
4. Financing not in place to develop to production - as we all know

As CMET resolve points 3 & 4, point 1 will also be resolved and yield buyers won't care so much about 2.

But I look forward to the day I read that Legalwolf is starting to buy back in again, then I'll know things are starting to turn, haha.

@fairview - what's your view on the results as a matter of interest?

Well I've always enjoyed DYJJ's gut feels, lol, although he is heavily weighing in on the Caveat's here - either way I'm not overly concerned by an immediate rerate as once we have the offtake agreement in place I would envisage a steady SP recovery upto production.

@DS I had been scratching my head over the SP activity over the last few days/week but it kind of makes sense now.

Let's see what the next set of drill results bring.

It's building a picture but I'm not sure I'd get overly excited by these grades.

"The presence in drillhole 4 of a further intersection of wide gold mineralisation in the stockwork, 100m away from the wide gold intersection in TW001, demonstrates the continuity of gold mineralisation in the stockwork in this area."

Probably the most significant statement in the RNS - but I'll be honest I am wondering about the economics. BUT as Prof C says it's going to be a long process...

@color, may I ask at what SP and by when do you become a bit more relaxed about holding CMET?

Holding this seems to be taking a toll, and I'm wondering if you'll ever be truly content here, given it will be sometime before we start to reap regular dividends and maybe this may end up being more a dividend return than a capital growth share in the end.
Not saying the MCAP won't increase if things go the way we all hope but the bigger rewards are likely to be in the form of regular dividends and that requires a long time horizon.

I guess everything is relative, Musk15, rapid in this sector isn't comparable to technology for example, as well as being person-based. I agree that Prof is pretty repetitive these days, but there just probably isn't anything new to say.
If you've invested broadly throughout this sector this is something you'll be accustomed to, but if the rest of your portfolio is say in Tech, this will be excruciating.

If people are bored and fed up and thinking this is all very slow I'm afraid they simply don't understand this business. Everything takes a long time. This is not slow...this is normal. How many times do you hear Prof C preface everything that this is the start of a very long process? And each step within that process takes a good chunk of time too.

The drip drip sale is definitely having an impact on sentiment and price - if only because there are so few shares it doesn't take much volume to move the SP either way. But I think this trend will continue for a while at least.

yes, the potential dividend yields from this level are mouth-watering.

The good thing about our buys, Justone, or at least mine is that they are long term buys so reducing available stock in the market. Continually reducing that 24% available to trade.
