Every indication MF has given is that it would be all systems ho once they got the IML. I have no reason to doubt him.

I agree Bristolian this has the potential to be an extremely rewarding hold, but it literally could be years away.
Capital tied up for years and will the SP drift if so? I'd hope not, but experience tells me otherwise.

DRJJ - I had my finger over the 'buy' button myself on Wednesday - it's so very tempting to top up now, but I have so many of these ruddy things I cannot justify taking anymore. Would that I was only 50% down, as another contributor posted.

I've been watching this for a while. JT was one of my lecturers in Uni, the only one that really made an impact.

I agree Xeiger, the CEO cannot say anything new at the AGM that hasn't already been communicated to all shareholders. So I just envisage him shifting uncomfortably not being able to add more than he's already said previously.

It's not far from my offices but honestly do you think it's worthwhile?

the assumption that nothing can get done is SL is totally disproven - during the WORST of the crisis there we have:

> been granted the IML
> Oluvil Port has been dredged and reopened.

SL situation is now (with IMF injection & parliamentary/constitutional reforms) the best it's been in months.

I thought they were expecting a much larger resource estimate (?) Didn't E mention1-2m ounces? Or is there more work to be done on the resource expansion?

DRJJ - yup saw that...another good sign of progress being made.

I'm very comfortable with progression - it may be taking a little longer, but in the life of the operations ahead no big deal.

I decided a while back just to leave this alone and not sweat over every single little thing -MF has delivered on EIA, IML, further exploratory licences etc. etc. and I've no doubt he'll deliver on the rest, continuing on his achievements to-date. The port has been reopened as they said it would be. All this delivered even during the worst of times in SL.

Ridiculous price now but so is the case for so many stocks.

Hopefully the $2.9bn injection from the IMF will provide the stimulus to start to de-risk the country risk now and MF can make some headway on the offtakes and getting capital equipment into the country.

Finally the end of the Rajapakhsa feudal tyranny. This is good news and long overdue.
It really clears the way for major reforms.

Color appreciate your 'upfrontedness', but it's probably not best policy to daily complain and moan about the company/CEO and THEN sell at the bottom.
