If you did not expect a rise why are you holding ?

This hopeless government has been playing catch up from day one and now has very little credibility.
The approach has been one dimensional and will probably result in more unrelated deaths due to lack of cancer treatment and diagnosis etc as well as the impact of the impending recession.
Whilst we are all sympathetic to the loved ones of those who have died the majority of them would probably have died in the relatively near future anyway due to their age and underlying health conditions.

Momentum is a big factor in shares and this is negative at the moment. I am sat on a big % loss and certainly will not be investing any more despite all the wishful thinking on here.

NORRAB, I would argue that knowing when to cut your losses is the art of astute stock investing. Taking profits too early is also a common mistake, momentum is probably the key driver of share prices.

Agree ROCKA, I have been in and out since it has been a £1 and it has been my best ever investment despite the occasional gloomsters who come on here and then quickly disappear.

Same here, a strange day, FTSE up but my portfolio down 2%. I would probably be better looking less regularly, I hold for at least 12 months so daily fluctuations does not really impact me but it does leave you feeling a tad disappointed.

If you dislike AIM, why do you invest in it. There are over 600 companies on the main market to invest in, most with better fundamentals the NCYT.

A disappointing day but to put it into context it is up nearly 200% over the last year.

Don't normally bother with AIM but no horseracing at the moment so I've had a fun bet with NCYT at £4 based on somebody else's recommendation.

Only a tiny proportion of my portfolio so not a big deal if it goes up or down.

I must admit I'm surprised by how naïve some of the comments are on here and other AIM BBs.

You are expecting a 4000% increase ?

ORPH a bit risky for me but SLP has plenty going for it, target price upside of 128%, increasing turnover and EBITDA and a potential yield of over 10%.
