Investor, whilst I admire your enthusiasm you were always likely to look a bit silly predicting 60p today, if only life was that easy.
I would never predict a price for any of my shares, I have no idea. On average they increase by about 7% a year and I am happy with that.
"Never sell on a loss". A classic investor mistake. You need to be ruthless sometimes and get rid of your poorly performing shares. I saved a fortune by selling TCG at a loss, I probably will sell CPI at some stage at a loss, I doubt I'll be seeing over a pound for them again but you never know.

A good strategy seems to be to do the opposite of the ferret, he seems to get everything wrong poor chap.

Poor ferret actually shorted PMO so instead of being 30% up he is 30% down, not very good for such a fantastic trader.

Surprise surprise Smithy is back on a rare down day. I remember you telling us to sell when we were £4+, you must be way down on your short so praying for bad news. You haven't a clue.

Today's news was really not a surprise so why would the share price go up 25% ?

Positive momentum is as good a strategy as any and POG certainly has that. However diversification is very important, I am always invested in at least 12 different stocks.

Ferret is down 25% on his short so is desperate for some bad news.

Amigo, I hope you are right and the share price does increase substantially.
I bought these at £1.47 last October so there is a way to go.

AIMIGO, I am invested here, I couldn't care less whether you believe me or not. It is difficult to be positive when you are 80% down. I will analyse the reasons and hopefully learn my lesson and not make the same mistakes again.

Yep, done OK with HIK in the past, lost 7% last time but made 25% the time before.

ULE seems to have lost a little of it's momentum but I might have a little investment in them.

It's good to find a friendly, polite board, there are some very strange characters elsewhere, especially when you question some of their assumptions.

Amigo, I don't want to repeat myself but I think you will find the share price fell before the crash due to the turnaround effort "being slower and more expensive than we had hoped". Not what I would class as "turning the company around."
The share price fell 40% on the 5th March due to this update, at that time the FTSE was still nearly 7000.
Again as I have said I am invested here but did not anticipate such a poor update from the management. I do not share your confidence in John Lewis and based on the current share price neither does the market.

Night Watch, as I stated before I am down on EZJ and PMO, I do not expect to make a profit on every share I invest in. The profit I have made on POG more than offsets the losses there. Up another 10% today, now up 220%. So even if EZJ and PMO fell to zero I would still be in profit. So not burnt at all thank you, I'm very happy with my overall performance.
Most people lose money day trading but if you are one of the few that make profits then congratulations.

Ocado rose a lot on the back of the lockdown. I think that things are now returning more back to normal and the advantages of online do not appear as obvious. For weeks I was unable to receive an online delivery but now there are lots of slots available.

In here for the dividend and also the generally steady performance on the last year.
First time I've invested here, they have the added benefits of the cost savings by sourcing a lot of their own production, I believe the Bradford site is the largest food production site in the UK. This will be more profitable than other food producers because of the economies of scale and because they don't incur marketing and sales costs etc.

Back in here, generally been showing good positive momentum.

As for fall backs before major climbs this share is down 90% over the last 4 years so I don't think there have been many major climbs during this period. It is the 3rd worst performing share out of the 600 or so in the FTSE.

Amigo, obviously if people want to sell their shares then the price will go down. But if this share is such excellent value why are they selling ?
