If you are diligent with your research there have been good investments over the last 20 years. The FTSE my be down but you have to take into account the dividends that have been paid out.
I've sold out today after holding for over a year, it seems to have lost its momentum over the last couple of months. Made a nice 10% profit which is very good considering that the FTSE has fallen 13% over the same period.
You could be right but timing the market is not easy. I think the CV factor is overplayed, death rates now or no worse than a normal year, it's time to get back to living as normal.
OCDO isn't really an online supermarket retailer, it's main business is selling technology worldwide. It is the future that counts, not the past or present.
FIREPISCES, not sure what point you are trying to make, I've made 10%+ for many years on UK stocks, OCDO being my best performing share with companies all over the world (including the US) using their technology.
