My best performing investments have tended to have smaller market caps. Big is not always best in investing.

But Smithy you said the same thing at £4 and it's now over £6.

Neil, based on MKS share performance over the last 5 years, rotten does seem an appropriate adjective. Perhaps if you don't like rotten, we can use bad, dreadful, awful, inadequate, appalling etc. I'll let you chose one.

I do put a tip each day on the Punters Lounge forum. On average I make about 5% return on horse racing, which doesn't sound a lot but trust me, anybody expecting a 10/1 winner every day will be disappointed.
It is much easier to make money on the stock market but not as much fun !

I agree Neil, there is no such thing as a no-brainer, nobody knows what the future brings, COVID has proven that. If I get more than 50% of my investments right I am more than happy.

I'm in here based on recent momentum.

I make a fair bit of money on the horses, mostly on Betfair as I have been shut down by most bookies, including WH.

During lockdown I had a flutter on US racing and couldn't make it pay, there could be better profits in the US.

I am back in, it's top of my momentum tracker.

Only invested a third of what I sold last time so whatever happens I will still be in profit with POG.

A strategy proven over many years is momentum and RR is showing negative momentum.

If your opinion is strong sell, why are you invested ?

I've sold all my shares at a big loss, there are better opportunities out there. I don't regret my investment, nobody could have predicted COVID.

Do not average down.

If you bought at 78p then I assume you managed to buy on the day when it was at it's very lowest, the 16th March.

Well done, you have made 36%.

However, you could have bought OCDO on the same day for £11.08. You would have made a profit of 126%.

That is why you have picked the wrong one.

OCDO up 0.4%, MKS down 4.3%, just admit you've backed the wrong horse Neil and move on.

Remember most day traders lose money, probably better putting your money in a tracker fund.

Fund managers on average under perform the market. They have good runs and bad runs like the rest of us. It sounds like you were lucky with Fundsmith. I think similar comments were made with Neil Woodford and we know how that turned out.

Neil, I really don't understand your fixation with OCDO, there is obviously bitterness for some reason. Chill out man, get out and enjoy the massive profits you have (supposedly) made.

Sell. it's a dog of a share.
Then again if you are seeking advice on here then you probably shouldn't be investing in individual stocks, probably wiser to put it in a tracker fund.
