TOM, NIGE, yes well in profit with SNG, GGP, only a small proportion of my portfolio but it's been good fun. I might have a dabble with JLP as well.

Why would they go up today due to being ex div on Thursday?

Perhaps it's different in other parts of the country but it's very quiet where I live. I used to pop out for a couple of pints every day but I don't have the enthusiasm any more, I'm happy enough to have a couple of bottles in the garden. The same applies with my friends, this post covid world seems a less inviting place.

I had a flutter on GGP, NCYT and SNG thanks, I think, to TOME.

SNG up 421% today, by far the best daily percentage rise I have had on any stock.

I am now up 120% on GGP and 190% on SNG, I'm quite liking this AIM malarkey despite my earlier reticence.

Had a walk to my local pub this afternoon, about half the tables that they used to have in the beer garden and they were all booked. Don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

It is the market value that is important. This is based on the long term potential, not the current year's profits / losses.

OBELIX, why do you restrict the list to AIM shares? Believe me there are lots of companies in the main market that are proper investments. Most shares in the AIM market are gambles, as demonstrated by the volatility that they show.

A share that can increase by 9,000% in less than a year and then lose 62% of that gain in the next 2 months is what I would define as a gamble.

BLUELIGHT, you said it is "likely" that Sheffield will go in to a lockdown. The actual statement said it would be a last resort.
