Whilst other credit agencies realised the upturn in RR since Sept 2022, JPM (Perry) decided to hold firm with the 70p rating.

JPM (Perry) showed absolute arrogance in my humble opinion.

Apologies if I didn't make that clearer.

It never got close to 70p though - it continued to rise every time Perry suggested 70p so under his guidance, JPMs clients would have been waiting for the drop.

They missed out, and JPM have had to bite the bullet.

It was only announced as a ‘competition’ last month with a decision in the autumn.

Whilst I agree the whole energy crisis should have been foreseen from any decent government, alas, we’re in catch up mode…. again.

Let’s give them a bit of time to see the wood for the trees and see what happens in the next 2-3 months.

All it shows is your hatred for the conservative government. You’ve not explained the whole competition/tender process and why it’s not as easy as just saying “give it to the UK! We rule!”, and understanding why those not getting the contracts will require concrete diligence being undertaken as to why their economically viable bids haven’t been accepted.

A simple “give it to the UK otherwise this government is crap” is playground.
