RE: SMR UPDATE21 Aug 2023 23:34
"What company that has 70% ownership of a company doesn't share in its profits ?."
Just to entertain you - did you not read the deficit in accounts for RR SMR LTD in RR Holdings last H1 results?
RR SMR Ltd (link shared) is a million miles away from profit. 10 million miles... 100 million miles!
As always, it will make 'directors' very wealthy without having to give profits to RR Holdings share holders (you and I).
They can't use the 10+ years of R&D (research and development) of RR PLC, that I always had an issue with from day one!
New enterprise, no offsetting, Directors (foreign funders) get rich, and it hit's the balance sheet in 50 years time.
The only reason I'm behind RR SMR is because I trade with optimism, and people like you (no offence) don't understand the economics of such situations so they plow in thinking RR is one entity when it clearly isn't.
At 17% retail, even that dumbfounded attitude isn't enough, so we have to rely on hedge and pension funds. And they'll only enter when it's a dividend paying company.
It will be in Q2/H1 of 2024 based on numbers (as seen above) and then we all get rid in Feb 2025 as we realise the figures aren't fluid from RR SMR LTD, and the 7 year spiral starts again.
Basic economics chaps - I'm a cat and I get it!
