“ Nettles but you always get one idiot in the village !!!!!”
Just the one? 😂😂
“PS, you’ve shagged my good friend!”
I’m intrigued - was she ginger with big eyes and a bushy tail to die for?
(I was drunk - she looked like a cat, turned out to be a fox).
…. I won’t tell you want 12 was. It’s a bit weird.
You mean £7 come Feb 2025?
Apparently it was just found at the bottom of the Ten Commandments:
10: “You shall not covet your neighbor's house”
11. (Covered in moss - typical!): RR will be £7 come Feb 2025.
….. and no, I didn’t eat the robins!
(Tempted though!)
No hate to any of you, but absolutely ridiculous that negativity is your first port of call when making a post on an RR forum/board that’s now trading at £4.26.
I’ve been vacant due to taking up a bit of gardening for other people - don’t need to do it, just enjoy it. Seeing robins coming to have a chat once they’ve got a decent garden to nest in makes my day.
My humble advice; take a breath before posting hate. Enjoy what you’ve got and realise being kind and nice is far more beneficial to both parties.
👍👍
Fair point Davdeladier.
My humble opinion, not very RR friendly I admit, would be a cross party situation from here on until the election.
It looks like we’re heading into a hung parliament so I think cross party politics in terms of anything the Tory’s wish to do from now on should be consulted across the house.
It will save us 4 years worth of stagnant growth due to Labour revoking everything the Tories have done just to make a point (party politics).
Be interesting to see where Labour stand with the whole SMR movement.
Totally agree with you Lieutenant.
With the construction of the first RR factory postponed to now use a British third party (for manufacturing that is, not construction of the SMRs), the Torys ‘could’ double bag by send the contracts through to RR before the November election.
Let’s see if they’re astute enough to do so.
Play to your own goals.
Mine in £7 gone Feb 2025. Not sure if I mentioned that before?
Responding well to interest rate news....
If only LSE has a sticky at the top.
Google will show the last trade price, far removed from the actual closing price. It's just how they roll.
"anyone else notice it went to Red £4.17 then in the blink of an eye went straight to blue £4.26,"
I mentioned this before and it's 'OK' for physical share holders (like you and I) but spread betters have their entire funds liquidated. It happened to a chap on here I mentioned before - he was brave enough to post his spread betting live on YouTube (quite fascinating and much respect to him).
There was a dive, an anti-spike, rather dramatic that wiped out his position before it got back to normal very soon after.
Is that an MM move? Are they wiping out the profits before then get involved? Who knows.... but that is why I always consider long term to be the finite best possible outcome.
I'll no doubt wish you a very happy birthday then sir. 👍
Quick question, do you think the likes of Ar5enal and Retirment will send some salmon my way WHEN it get's to £7 in Feb 2025? Or will they move the goal posts even wider?
"You didn't say what date in Feb 2025 so you're wrong!!!!"
OK, I'll say now.... 8th Feb 2025. My 50th Birthday. £7 sp.
"Once the dividend is announced the SP is bound to take off to another level. The current trajectory is towards £5 but once dividends are reinstated the SP is bound to leap upwards as ALL the major institutions will then be more than happy to park their trolley load of cash maybe this is when the SP will break out to new all-time highs again. Now that it is time to fly IMO GLA"
Boom! Better than any cat could have ever put it.
Cheers Cornish! I'll buy that for a dollar!
I can't find for the life of me RonR's post about being disappointed about the Fitch upgrade not doing anything for SP.
Sorry mate, I tried to look for your post to reply direct.
My post being that please don't forget that the Fitch upgrade wasn't meant to send the SP north. It was all down in the CMD with the idea that balance sheet security would lead to credit agency upgrades to (investment value) that would then dictate what RR do with Divs and buybacks.
Divs and buybacks are yet to come (obviously) but what was agreed that CMD has now happened so they'll happen soon (Divs first, Buybacks later).
That's what will send this to my £7 come Feb 2025.
Cheers Cornish - is that 0.24877% compound?
Love your workings Casa, but I’ll stick to compound interest. Served me well so far 👍👍👍👍
£8 would be lovely, I’m just stating what a compound interest rise per month needs to be for £7.
You know, that figure I’ve been batting around for 4 years 👍
