The week doesn't finish on a Tuesday (that's usually a Friday). So wind your neck in and behave yourself.

Cev, always have love you to bits dude, but this is totally relevant, unless you consider RR to be on it's own level of trading.

I'm not even in RR anymore, but the relevance of local and global politics is (and has been) essential to the SP and indeed the future of any share in the UK.

Very true retirment. "let's tax the rich" - the rich move away. "OK, let's tax the just less rich!" - they close up and stop spending. "OK, let's tax the working class now!" - they default on payments and the treasury get's less revenue. "OK, who's left? - Let's tax the poor!" - we know where that ends up.

Disgraceful politics from a man who knows nothing more than what he thinks is human rights. We need an economist in power - Not saying I agree with all the politics for Reform, but I LOVE the idea of raising the tax threshold to £20k. That says "you want to work? Go for it! You happy with 20k a year, don't worry it's funded".

And is totally funded. Pensions are ring fenced (good), and those in dire need are ring fenced (good).... but those who can work but decide to live on benefits should, and will be, the sector that get looked at. Ridiculous to lift the child cap - if you can't afford to have kids, don't have them! Get tough on those taking the p1ss and I'll vote for you. Allow entrepreneurs to earn money and employ many people, and allow big companies to do the same.

The UK should be a place that high earners get maximum benefits to allow them to do so, not a place where those who can (but don't) give into the system are asked to work hard and contribute.

Labour has shown itself to be a socialist soft touch. Terrible for society as a whole. Wake up, work, pay your taxes and get benefit from it! Simple!

Holding shoe? Obviously I meant holding "shares'. 😂

Not so bad today - from my experience of holding shoe that go into consolidation, it's usually a 20% decline with a slow incline to get back to normal, so to see this up today is rather nice.

Have to agree on that. It was said a deal would be struck by end of 2025 but they have been very clear that continued negations mean a deal somewhere in 2026. I'm happy with that. If it goes to 2027, then I question what's going on.

A few months out, hands up. But this wasn't the reason I thought RR would crash to £8. I thought it would be because the emphasis on the SMR was simply not going to show in the RR PLC balance sheet for years to come, so a lot of buying but no real value in the balance sheet.

All that said, the reason for the crash (like most shares) is the idiot Trump you idolise so much ShareFlyer. Proven to be an utter irresponsible entity only focused on himself and his friends.

Moreover, I take no joy in this crashing - it's serious money to many so again, I hope I'm very wrong and this responds to where it should be right now (around the £14 mark).
