Great point Badomen. Can't agree more. I'd be concerned if this was PREM status and needed ongoing shareholder money. Facts are that this is now fully operational earning its own money with a path to take it into the 2030's and thereafter.

We know what these 'attacks' mean in places such as Mali, like we did with the recent attacks to try and control the roads in terms of fuel getting to its designated places - they are nothing more than low grade, ill formed groups.

This will pass, and Mali will continue to be an operational entity in terms of drilling its substantial ore of minerals.

We all know what they are doing (finding a partner for P140, exploring the diabetes path) so we either sit and wait or sell up.

It's that simple I'm afraid.

I think we all now realise, if not before, that Trump's idea of a quick war to quash the Iran ability for a nuclear warhead is dead.

Maybe it wasn't even that - as we now know he's looking at the Falkland Islands as maybe not being a UK entity?

We're all down in our shares, unless you are a super day trader, and it's down to one man (and his team). It's embarrassing.

We need boring politics for the long term here. We need self involved politics per country to simply calm down and focus on our own individual states.

Trump has killed the markets - FACT. Playing games like a kid with building blocks, that he can't even stack two high, whilst promising a sky high "bigger than anybody even imagined" construction.

I do hope people remember this next time they vote - we need boring politics for a while, let everything get back to "normal" and just live.

I agree with your logic there, hence the reason I state turnover (nothing to do with gross or net profits).

Mali take a percentage of the profits, as you state, so 100m for KOD PLC is still valid (turnover).

Let post, I promise.... reading on, the cash or cash equivalents for KOD PLC (or group) was 16m for 2025.

3 months of income 51m dollars (49% of which is KOD PLC - 24.5m, so pre determine a 100m income for 2026) this will certainly change the whole essence of the KOD PLC balance sheet.

Put it this way, if it doesn't change the SP, then we know something other than basic maths is taking its toll.

Also, very interesting to get an understanding of previous financial accounts to see how it changes with the next accounts or quarter results.

KOD PLC post under a 'group of companies' accounts - which is fine, but harder to get to the base figure of the impact of recent off take.

Interesting to see the consolidated income of comprehensive income be around the same as 2024 (expense being around the 1.5m figure), operating loss of around 2.4m (3.5m in 2024), total loss pre tax of 11m for 2025.

More interesting is the financial position for the parent company; ignoring all the crap, I see a final figure of equity being 45m for 2025.

So yes, very interesting to see what the 51m (dollars) will do to the next accounts.

Won't be long before this is waiving it's tail and worthy of bigger interesting parties.

Ha, ha - fully understand that mate - I got my earnings from RR (34p through to £11) and invested in mostly AIM stocks since (October 2025), mostly mining and a couple pharmaceuticals.

It's not good for the heart as you mention, but great fun to see gains of £10k-£15 a day, and then cry when I lose £10k-£15k a day. 😂

I'm still positive though mate - can't draw anything until 2030 so might as well go for gold. Still up 26% since October 2025, but have been 57% up.

Hell, who knows - just good fun as I say 😂

Go to say though, when I first invested at 0.09p it was a punt. I like what Bernard was doing at that time, and I thought with the requirements for EV it was a no brainer. All gone according to plan so very happy with that but I'm extremely disappointed in the current SP knowing what they have achieved.

Maybe I am being a little off with that as there have been no accounts posted since the actual mining, so I'll put that down to nobody (part form current holders) really knowing about it?

Seems a long shot, but we'll see after the next results.

Again, totally agree with you mate - China are fleecing the market here (et al) and good for them, they know how to do good business - even suggesting they don't owe the 15m to Mali and it's all on KOD PLC. Funny really, but you can't blame them for their way of working.

Obviously in their (Hainan's) interest to hold off on the take over; hell, they got a fully functioning lithium mine for 100m and own 51% of it... not bad business if you ask me! 😂

I do wonder if Bernard feels a little constrained by the current situation, hence the exploration of gold you mention.

Should be interesting in the coming 12/18 months with quarter results gaining every time.

Totally agree with you elcobbledore - I like the idea of the "Phase Two flotation plant that Aylward says could support a mine life of more than 14 years". That suggests they are in for the long run, or they are promoting themselves to be a significant buy out more that the current SP (more than 1p as you mention).

I'd love to think they have vested interest here and they are in for the long run, benefitting from a decent JV with Hainan here, but also look at solo/different JV for future projects.

All bodes well for a significant mining company in my humble opinion, but alas, we know not what is the minds of the BOD at this time.

Hold for gold I say - I've had them since original purchase of 0.09p back in the day but I'm closer to even now with my purchases since.

... but that's also a fair point. I've seen many big investors jump on board a company posting exceptional results compared to their previous years (maybe without due diligence?)

I personally feel KOD should be consolidating shares right now - even with better than ever quarterly results, the huge amount of shares that make up current MCap will never get decent investors (hedges/pensions etc).

A 100 to 1 (at least) needs to happen, and yes, there will always be a drop off before what is usually a decent incline.

It will show them to be a separate entity from Hainan and will hopefully attract investors prior to any big Hainan wish to put forward (if ever).

It would be a real shame if Hainan got KOD for less than 2p - KOD was above 0.8p even in pre mine.

I quite agree - it's a case of looking at quarterly results to get interest from those not already invested.

Personally, I can't see a pre mine company going to 51m turnover in the months since it's been mining, to not gain any interest - the balance sheet alone should show the increase?

But if we have to wait for year end, then so be it.

I think we need to understand the BOD are very lacklustre in their approach to keeping shareholders updated.

It good be that they are extremely confident in the current and potential findings or it could be that that are simply stringing another AIM stock top pay for their pensions.

I think it's the former, but I agree the lack of RNS is very bad. They need to get their marketing (if they have one) on board to at least keep the spirits high with true and factual knowledge.

Machinery in place early April, drilling on 25+ new holes to start in May with emphasis on better progression of assay results as they know they let share holders down with the previous two holes/assay timings.

Very happy I took the opportunity to top up form 18k shares to 35.4k shares.

Not going to to lie that I don't look daily, but this is certainly a boom or bust for the coming H2 of 2026.

I quite agree - day traders not liking the fact it doesn't double overnight.

I'm personally very happy with current proceedings and I expect a nice increase come end of May when assay of the first of the new 25+ holes will be underway.
