I'm not jesting by the way when I say ww.companiesmarketcap.com is the best tool in my catbox for instantly recognising shares to invest in. I know not many people have the time to look at every company 10 above and 10 below RR PLC at any point in time, but when I'm not drawing, I play chess, and when I'm not playing chess, I do silly things like look into fundamentals of 20 companies either side of RR at any point in time, globally, nationally, industry sector, etc..... yes, I'm that boring!
And that's the WHOLE REASON I came up with a 70bln MCap for RR (back in 2020).
Method in the madness I'm afraid. It wasn't just a cat plucking figures out the air - it was a boring crayon drawing savant like JTT who knew his stuff.
Someone throw some matchsticks on the ground!
🤣
You reckon? Maybe feb? 🐈⬛
OK, it's rising.....

turkish parts deal now confirmed (if my cat vine is correct) so that's concrete, in the bag, sorted, finished, over and done with.....
$20bln is a big deal - post the 230 airbus from dec 2023.
rr is flying (pardon the pun). but it really is. time to look at my mcap chart and see what other companies are hovering around 33bln gdp with this much impetuous.
jebus! just checked. zero is the answer.
check here if you wish to compare:
https://companiesmarketcap.com
so many different variants you can bring up (geo, industry etc) to then see where you see rr fitting in.
currently #454 as i post this.... i won't even mention some of the ****3 above us!
Basic 101 share dealing suggests for every sell, there is a purchase (and vice versa). There has to be a purchaser of stock sold.
Basics.
Brokers may hinder reported transactions but there is absolutely no point suggesting a stock sold 20m and purchases were only 10m (traded).
I’d strongly suggest a basic course in stock trading is required before posting such numbers.
Quite agree PEAKDREAD.
Unfortunately, money doesn’t always equate to common sense. 👍👍
Great info RamDerby 👍👍👍
Very interesting PEAKDREAD!
As Retirment would have us believe, RR PLC has reached its peak. I’m not sure a very expensive tenancy agreement close to Glasgow airport backs that up. 😂
…. Yes, Regional REIT Ltd (so not a PLC) reporting massive increase in revenue due to RR PLC taking offices within Lightyear (grade A offices near Glasgow airport).
Could be old news.
I agree again MJK1 but I think the last update of physical production expansion for RR showed they are geared up for a huge increase in near term
Increases.
On a side note, I also hear through the grape vine they’ve secured offices in Glasgow - big increases in the landlords SP today.
(I need to confirm if that is RR PLC or the car makers! Early news!).
Correct MJK1, but they stand to benefit from any increase in Airbus usage.
GE can’t say the same.
... says whistleblower.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2024/04/17/ground-boeing-787-dreamliner-jets-safety-fear-whistleblower/
"Boeing’s global fleet of 787 Dreamliner jets should be grounded for safety checks after manufacturing errors left them structurally unsound, a whistleblower has said."
"Engineer Sam Salehpour, who will testify in the US Congress on Wednesday, claimed that a race to speed up production had led to serious issues with the aeroplanes including small gaps between sections of fuselage."

Great post captain Svend.
Good to see positivity over the pointless negatives....
Great post PEAK.
It's obvious most on here are spread betting - and I hate to say it Badlands, as I like you and your posts, but my gut tells me you sold early on your spread bet and are now trying to get back involved at a decent price? You hate the fact you sold to early?
I could be wrong. And no hate either way.
Fodder until Feb 2025 cats. I've said that from day one.
Unless your bouncy balls off £4.20 negate gravity, you have nothing to say here retirment.
I'll hold you to your £5.20 come Feb 2025 if you wish me to, but you're so wrong.
Surprises me with someone who suggests such affluent stake really has no idea on the stock.
Did you watch the CMD?
"3 investor events at the end of the month, AGM May, JP Morgan conference June, half year results August... Even for those not sticking the distance plenty to look forward to in the next few months"
Also Simar99, in kindest way to put this - did you watch the CMD?
I did. Lot of people where there to watch first hand such as JP Morgan (didn't know he was such a young chap to be honest) But I watched it live for the 10 hours live and between the CEO and CFO, the future is clear (I won't even comment on the expectations of the Nuclear and other divisions).
The CMD was absolutely clear in three strokes:
1) Investment value becoming a repayment to shareholders. This has now happened. Expect Divs very soon!
2) SMR and future tech being 1/5th of future business (includes narrow body re-entry)
3) Current workload being a far better margin where profits are concerned.
I can't find the graphs online they showed at the CMD but the SMR and narrow body re-entry alone where 2/5ths of their current business model.
PEAKDREAD and others are correct that my £7 come Feb 2025 is now conservative.
...and for those panicking, Natural Gas looks like quick fix....
