"nettlesthecat i took out of bp to buy rr
so £110k was not earing money while bp make me 68% in the time i had them + great divs 4 times a year add to that inflation and also no divs"
Oh, I see.... I wouldn't consider that 'losing' money though Retirment.... my whole pawtfolio was has risen over those 4 so I wouldn't look at the flat times of RR 'losing' me money, that's the whole point of spreading the money over a wider pawtfolio over time (mine currently sits with 13 shares) - currently 144% gains which is over my goal for this moment in time.
"I had £110k sat there for 3 years dead money/ that lost me £50k easy. maybe a lot more."
How did you lose 50K? I was also on the rollercoaster you speak of (from 2020) but I've not lost a penny.
Did you cash out?
Great post PEAK.
And this is without Fitch upgrade > div announcement > SMR confirmation….. et al
Goodness me! 🐈⬛
.... (that's what she said).
So all we need is a compound monthly interest of a little over 4% for the 11 months remaining to get to that chalice of £7.
Doesn't seem like much when really does it?
Yeah, I do.
Last corporate action announcement (about a month ago) was to suggest they'd let us know nearer the time.
I'm guessing it will be a simple case of them selling and rebuying through Germany without us having to do anything. It may even be a multi-choice option.
"NTC - not holding you to the fire here, do you have a timeline on how these things work? Is it every quarter or an adhoc basis?"
After my disaster with Barclays? Nah, I'll hold off the Mystic Mog stuff for now..... 👍
We just need Fitch to get this to investment grade and then the CFO will release a timetable for Divs - that'll be the next 'jump'.
Number of shares in value multiplied SP = MCap
Hence 70bln MCap being realistic (in my humble opinion).
Nice one Berny!
No football this weekend apparently Mystic.
Goal posts have well and truly gone walkabout.
Already up another 5p today.
I'm preferring the steady increases rather than overnight boom.
Please leave me alone.
Your persistent interest in me is becoming rather worrying.
"This is dated the 1st of March"
Get yourself to be mate - have an early night. 👍
"And this has what to do with RR?"

Deutsche Bank is positive on the stock with a Buy rating. The target price continues to be set at 4.65
"Aug 2025 1656 - (opening) - 1711 (closing) - 356%"
😂
No, I'm here - just nothing to comment on.... 👍
Apologies. In that case, certainly consult an accountant.
Less haste , more speed don’t they say? (Or have I just made that up?). 😂
Good luck anyway it goes for you.
With that knowledge, I’d strongly suggest selling as much as you can can this side of April 5th, whilst working out your net gains (fall below the 6k figure). Original investments aren’t taxable though CGT, only gains are, above £6k. Losses and gains are only applicable once liquid so in essence, you could maximise your losses against the gains to get to that 6k figure this year.
That should take a fair chunk out of your investments in transferral to an equity ISA (up to £20k any tax year).
Lovely stuff - takes a certain person to instigate hatred at 5.45pm on a Friday evening.
I honestly wish you a lovely weekend. You need it. 👍
