Did anyone participate in todays flash sales on the global market?

Nike, Apple, Starbucks, CAT, Amazon - I could go on, they are all down after hours. I would say tanking.

It's always a risk, Pete, but to give you a bit of peace of mind. I heavily invested last week when they dropped to 1.20. I was always going to be into this share due to dividends. It's up to you whether you want to keep on the train or get off at the next stop.

I’ve been sitting here tonight thinking about the lowered share price and how that might have attracted these investors. I can imagine a potential offer being in the ballpark of £1.50 and I would reject also. We can just wait and see what they come to the table with. As £2 would be tempting if it came.

Yes, you’re missing the point about yield; that’s how people determine if a dividend is worthwhile. As stated, most of us are under £1, so it equates to 6% which is relatively good. Not so good if your average is £6 as it would be 1%.

.I’ve just done what many forum members have done: I bought some shares at a discounted rate to lower the average share price and also to increase dividend pay. There are too many incentives with this stock not to take advantage of opportunities like today. I had the same opportunity 5 years ago with RR, and they are paying off with the foresight, GLA DYOR.

I hope so; it would be nice to see it level out around that number for a while, tbf.

Does anyone use different platforms/boards? It can be quite frustrating to sift through the nonsense and name-calling to find the valuable posts. I don't understand why some people feel the need to come here and contribute such negativity.
